• In Part Six, Todd — a writer for entertainment magazines — gets subjected to a good old fashioned No-Holds-Barred Beatdown at the hands of Leather's henches after Darkhood interrupt the electronics store job. A beatdown that doesn't stop until Leather gets back and calls them all idiots for beating up a guy who couldn't possibly be responsible. And then, still slumped on the floor, bloody and hoarse, he interrupts her mid-rant to ask what she meant when she said she needed to get scanned before coming back.^note "Darkhood's a fucking tech. Cowls love to 'let' you get away with a homing beacon or transmitter or something shoved up your ass so they can come waltzing in when your guard's down. I have a thing set up — go there, get wanded like at an airport. Make sure when I come home I'm all by myself. Shut up." Why? Because he's a goddamn reporter, and if he's going to write the story, he needs to know.
