• The Chinese sniper, Major Li, who opens fire on the Japanese after they discover the girls in the cathedral. The major has set all kinds of traps outside in preparation for an attack and he had plenty of explosives planted for them. He even has a Dying Moment of Awesome when after the Japanese shoot him dead on the tower's roof, his falling body pulls a half-dozen dead man's switches in the form of strings attached to his chest, and detonates a massive cache of explosives that levels the whole building and takes a lot of Japanese troops with him.
