- Hank Ankylosaurus is considered in-universe to be one of the greatest Dinoball players. He's so strong, that he's able to toss other ankylosauruses off of his back like it was nothing.
- "A Frill a Minute": There's a bully named Keenan at the Big Pond who keeps bossing the other kids around. They stack up, and, with Hank's frills, successfully make Keenan go away.
- In the series finale, "Father's Day," the gang takes the Dinosaur Drill Train to the future and successfully retrieve the Conductor's father, Trevor Troodon, who was stuck in the Ice Age. When they return to the Cretaceous, they are lauded as heroes.
- The ultimate face off between Boris Tyrannosaurus and a different Trevor, a Triceratops
. Boris rides Trevor like a horse and pins him down, winning the face off.
