  • Chapters 4 and 5 show just how powerful Dimitri is with the Crest of Blaiddyd and the Crest of Flames by having him launch toward a demonic beast and shattering its skull with a flying kick, then punching it so hard it falls into the ravine below. After that episode, when the Blue Lions' caravan gets stuck in the mud, he lifts the whole thing off the ground and carries it over his head, classmates and all, without breaking a sweat.
  • Chapter 19: After Edelgard survives an assassination attempt, Glenn (who takes Monica's place as Kronya's victim) threatens to bump her off for turning Felix and Dimitri against him. She tells Glenn that she's not afraid of him or any other assassin, and she pulls off a spectacular blackmail bluff by threatening to release the whole truth behind the Tragedy of Duscur if she, her family, or friends dies. Glenn is so shocked by Edelgard's threat that in the next chapter, all he can do is stand by and complain about the phantom letters during his next meeting with his masters, looking like a complete chump in front of them.
  • Chapter 28: When Rodrigue (actually Thales in disguise) slaps Felix in front of his classmates for mouthing off about the Knights of Seiros letting him out of protective custody due to his close ties to Cornelia (who had recently transformed Hapi into a demonic beast for attempting to air out their dirty laundry), Byleth, Badass Teacher that she is, steps in to make sure he doesn't take another shot at Felix, or anyone else:
Rodrigue/Thales: (with a sword held to his throat) Don't you think that's a little extreme?
Byleth: I won't have you laying hands on my students in my classroom. If you need to discipline your son, you don't do it in front of his friends.
Rodrigue/Thales: I had no idea you were so soft, Professor. Did your father never teach you, 'spare the road and spoil the child?'"
Byleth: My father taught me how to kill a man ten different ways by the time I was twelve.
Rodrigue/Thales: I see. However, those of noble stock raise their children quite differently. I would say a little public humiliation is exactly what my brat needs.
Byleth: Then find somewhere else to do it. Felix is my student and this is my classroom.
