Hahaha, I just tried to punch Khalisah and she was ready for it! I have to admit, as annoying as she can be it was kind of fun seeing the Butt-Monkey hit back. I'll try that again though, even though it's one of those things that Yahtzee hates, i.e. Press X Not To Get Punched.
Okay, you can hit her if you try it the second time. I'll reload the game and try to be patient with her this time, even though she is even more obnoxious than ever. Really, what kind of question is "How do you justify running away from Earth while millions of people are dying?" (Paraphrased.) Look al-Jilani, for all I've done I am just one person! The Normandy is just one ship! If I had stayed around blasting Reapers and watching those blasts slide off them like water off a duck's back, and then gotten blown up, then you'd probably be on the air asking how I could possibly justify throwing away Alliance resources on a fight I couldn't win when the Alliance needed all the people and ships it could get.

Wow, doing the Paragon thing played out kind of like it would in Real Life. Khalisah is upset because Earth is getting torn apart. I spoke calmly to her and it calmed her down, just like I've seen it calm down people in the real world when they've lost their tempers, just like it's sometimes calmed me down when I've lost my temper and the person I've been talking to hasn't given in to what I'm sure must have been a great temptation to yell at me.

On the Normandy now, met Samantha Traynor, looking around, into Liara's office and hey, now they're finally talking about Liara being the Shadow Broker, which wasn't brought up earlier! Real interested to hear why she left that place. I guess maybe she left Feron in charge? Let's talk to her and find out...

Oh, now that I'm conversing with her again, I hear about what happened to her old base. Illusive Man you arrogant bastard, you tried to take down the Shadow Broker! Didn't work out as well as you hoped, did it? Well, it's good that Liara's still operating as the Broker and also that she's been getting out instead of staying cooped up with her monitors all day (and I'm really kind of hypocritical for criticizing her over that), and that Feron's all right.
Just met Cortez, and I gotta say, if he and Vega continue to banter like this during every conversation then maybe Vega's good for something after all!
Hmm, after that sparring session and talk, Vega seems a bit less annoying. If he's a Death Seeker, or was one, then I guess he wasn't as much of a moron as I thought for wanting to stick around and fight the Reapers.
