Go To

We've got two more optional areas to go to before we continue with the plot. First is Kokkol's Forge. Here, we can combine some weapons with pieces of Kokkol Ore to create better weapons. We'll take care of that later.

What we're here for is the set of Angel's Clothes hidden here. These clothes increase the magic stats, are stronger than the default sets of clothes, and not much else. We'll let Brina be our mage doll, as, being our only healer in our party, we want her with high Spirit.

Our main target for today is the Sylph Cave. Once again, the damage tiles don't hurt us. There's a few things here we can grab.

First notable thing is on B3, the Clown's Clothes. This set does nothing for physical abilities, little for magic, but cranks Speed up really high. Maybe I'll use it later, for now, we'll stick with what we have.

(For those who, for some reason, want to keep track of which clothes we have, we have the Boy's Clothes and Girl's Clothes which both are Jack of All Stats, the Warrior's Clothes which is a Mighty Glacier, the Angel's Clothes, which I guess is close to Squishy Wizard, and the Clown's Clothes, which is a Fragile Speedster)

While making my way to the Sylphs' Cache, it feels like the encounter rate has really increased. When we get there, however, we're well rewarded. A Horned Helmet, a Mythril Knife and a couple of consumables. We give the helmet to Luca (even if anyone else could wear it, it wrecks the wielder's magic stats) and knife to Brina.

And then we head back out, heal and head back in so we can head to the Sylphs' Home. On the way we find a Dagger, which I've already got enough of, a Silver Armlet, which I've already got enough of, and a couple of pieces of Kokkol Ore.

We eventually make it to our target.

Rydia: A Sylph!

Crap, they're petrified too.

Sylph: (Yang... Please be safe!)

Damn, these things are obsessed with Yang.

Rydia: These guys met the same fate, too...

We do, however, find a Healing Rod and a Mage's Robe. Rydia can now heal HP and is a bit sturdier too. Still, probably best to keep the Crossbow and Holy Arrows we have on except in an emergency.

Then we head out. So, in conclusion, we spent more money at Tomra than we really needed to. Whoops. That's all for now. Next time, we'll actually progress the plot.
