* GameBreaker: In earlier versions of the game, Odette would completely refill your party's health and SP every time you saved your game. This feature was removed because it made the game too easy. However, the ability to refill your
party's health/SP was later reintroduced with the addition of Ire, who performs that service for a fee, making it more fair.

** Amusingly, Camime gets hit with this a lot. ** Despite the fact that he hasn't even woken up yet in-game, fans seem to love Frutti. During a discussion on Discord about which character the fans liked most, Frutti was voted as a ''very close'' second to Whiskers, one of the main characters.

* FridgeBrilliance: The title screen image (the one on the Video Game page) is probably a ranking of how [[spoiler:innocent]] the characters are from left to right. Skid and Whiskers are perfectly cheerful and friendly, so they're on the left. Peter is a good person deep down, but he has seen a lot of horrors and has kind of a bleak outlook on life. Adeline is in the middle because she's a VanillaProtagonist and the player can interpret her however they want. Staya is evil and cruel, but he does have some good qualities and [[spoiler:makes a HeelFaceTurn in one ending]]. Stella [[spoiler:might have been a better person in the past]], but we don't see this in the game. And finally, Clint is at the very right because he's [[spoiler:a cold-hearted monster who pretends to be on his party's side, but eventually betrays them]].

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: The scene where Adeline meets Skid and Whiskers. Not only is the music beautiful, but it's very nice to see the story take a quick break from its usually dark nature. Despite a few characters showing disdain for the two, Skid and Whiskers turn out to be very sweet guys who warmly welcome you into their hideout. Talking to them reveals that they've missed Adeline and are happy to see her again, despite how horribly she allegedly treated the toys before the events of the game. One question you can ask them is "Was I a bad person?", to which Whiskers replies:

* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: While the in-game sprites aren't too shabby, the cutscene images are where Connie's artistic talents really shine. The cutscenes are accompanied by amazing pixel drawings. They look like something out of a children's book, in that they have a very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful style, even for the more creepy scenes.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Connisaur, together with artist Antriksh Bali, have put together a great soundtrack for this game. From ominous ambient music to beautiful orchestral tunes, every song adds a great atmosphere to the game. Especially notable is "[[OrchestralBombing Attacked]]", an intense orchestral battle theme that almost sounds like something out of a war movie.

Or is she mindlessly [[ExtremeDoormat following and being pushed around by]] the other toys? Alternatively, considering that you get to name her and make choices on what she does throughout the game, maybe it's totally up to the player what Adeline's personality is like, and you're meant to play her however you want.

* JerkassWoobie: Wilson initially comes off as nothing but an abrasive HateSink... unless you talk to him with Clint in your party. Clint delivers a scathing TheReasonYouSuckSpeech that comes across as a little ''too'' harsh. He then forces Wilson to lower his prices for Adeline, which he does only out of fear. From then on, whenever you talk to him, he will still be horribly frightened. In the exchange between Wilson and Clint, we also learn that Wilson has worked out [[DealWithTheDevil a deal with Staya]], Staya allowing Wilson to keep his shop running (or maybe even just to stay alive) as long as Wilson periodically gives Staya some Roaches (which Staya needs for a currently unknown purpose, and which Wilson is better at catching than him.) Wilson seems to be just as afraid of Staya as everyone else, but unlike most of the other toys, he has no friends to look out for him.

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Is Adeline TheAtoner, who wants to make up for what she did to her toys in the past? Or is she mindlessly being [[ExtremeDoormat pushed around by and following]] the other toys? Alternatively, considering that you get to name her and make choices on what she does throughout the game, maybe it's totally up to the player what Adeline's personality is like, and you're meant to play her however you want.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: When Tenor tells the party about his missing birds, Clint offers to help him, only for Peter to shoot him down, insisting that they focus on the task at hand. However, they soon change Peter's mind.
