Black don't crack isn't just a saying. This was just truth in television. Look at Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Eddie Murphy. How much have they aged?

* SpecialEffectFailure: Not the Godspeed costume, which was well-received, but Future Iris, as it doesn't appear that very much effort was put into making her actually look 30 years older. She pretty much looks ''exactly'' the same, but with gray streaks.

* InternetBackdraft: Many fans could understand Barry locking Nora in the Pipeline, since he didn't know the full facts. But after hearing her story and learning she has no malevolent intentions, [[SkewedPriorities he's so hung up on her working with Thawne]] that in what has to be his lowest moment he banishes her to the future without consulting anybody, not even Iris; something that shocked and dismayed many fans.

Not a YMMV trope, dude.

* GenericDoomsdayVillain: Godspeed. Cool costume aside, he's introduced as just some guy in the future who decided to start abusing Velocity-9. He barely gets any dialogue, much less character development.

You never heard of black don't crack? That was truth in television my friend.

** Iris' "aged" makeup may actually be even more pathetic than Felicity's over on ''Series/{{Arrow}}''.

I wouldn't say all his Character Development was thrown away.
