* UnfortunateImplications: In one episode, Raven impersonates her teacher's wife in order to avoid letting her parents talk to her teacher personally.. Her parents see through the disguise as soon as they see a picture of Raven's (white) teacher, seeming to imply that it's impossible for a white man to have married a black woman.

* NightmareFuel:
** How about the babysitting episode with Miss Paterson?
** Let's not forget the "Baby Cousin" in the Country Cousins episode. Played by Raven, of course. In a giant baby costume and high chair. Something about her expressions in that getup was... [[UncannyValley HORRIFYING]]!
** Speaking of the country cousins episode, we have the scarecrow (Percy if I remember correctly) which we've told twice that there are stories of him coming to life and stealing your soul. Then Percy actually comes into the room through the hole in their floor, complete with moans and flashing lights. Of course, [[spoiler:this is before we find out it was a prank]] but even then it's pretty creepy.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: One episode has a scene where Raven tries to wake Chelsea in [[LesYay an unintentionally suggestive manner]]. A boy that Raven has a crush on sees them, so she frantically tries to tell him ThisIsNotWhatItLooksLike. Raven-Symonè revealed herself as a lesbian many years later, so now this scene might come off as her feeling ashamed to make her preferences public while riding high off an acting comeback.

* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: The video games are despised by the whole industry. ''And there was a sequel''.

* UnfortunateImplications: Chelsea, the idiot of the group, is a vegetarian and animal rights activist.
** She is also the TokenWhite of the group.

* {{Flanderization}}: Chelsea's ditziness later becomes extreme idiocy.
** In early episodes, she was even smarter (or at least more sensible) than Raven.

* RetroactiveRecognition
** [[GossipGirl Vanessa Abrams]] was Raven's one-time rival for Bayside's Best Dressed award.
** A younger version of Cody Linley, better-known as HannahMontana's on-again, off-again love interest Jake Ryan, appeared as Daryl, the leader of a gang of pre-teen punks who encouraged Cory to join them in [[FiveFingerDiscount shoplifting from a junk store]].
