* AntiClimaxBoss: The final Gundam Fight with Master Asia has an incredible build up and within the story itself, is considered an extremely rousing fight for mankind, and even Domon and Master Asia recite the motto of the School of the Undefeated of the East ("LOOK! THE EAST IS BURNING RED!") before the fight. Yet, if you have been investing even a bit in Domon, he can finish the battle in one turn before Master Asia can even react (hit him with a Soul-powered Sekiha Tenkyoken)

* ThatOneRule: Pilot-locked attacks are already disliked enough to be noted in the general series YMMV page, but T has a particularly flagrant application of the rule by locking Bellvine's Hyper Aura Slash to Show. This upset fans on multiple levels. Show already has an exclusive attack in the Billbine's Aura Shoot, meaning that it is impossible to field both Billbine and Bellvine without one being handicapped. While Aura Shoot is an extra attack on top of the Billbine's already larger-than-average moveset, Hyper Aura Slash is a historically-standard attack for every non-Mook Aura Battler, including every other Aura Battler in this game. Then there's the question as to why a scrapped design from New Story has an attack exclusive to Show, when this is only the second game in franchise history to actually feature New Story's protagonist. All-in-all, pilot-locking the attack is seen as an absolutely senseless move.

** Vicious is the BigBad of his series, and yet he's DemotedToExtra, only appearing in one cutscene. This is despite the franchise has had a history of putting a character into a mecha of another series, and Vicious could have been treated that way, but no. Either B.B Studio forgot, or they thought Vicious is against riding a mech at all personally.

** Despite the big dramatic meeting between Show and Shion for the first time in the SRW franchise, Bern Bunnings does not appear at all to interact with Rabaan. They tried to mitigate it by . But it still comes across as a wasted opportunity considering Creator/ShowHayami voices them both anyways.

** New:
--->Maito: And that's how it is, Joe!
--->Joe: Why does this piss me off so much...?

Moved to dedicated meme page for Super Robot Wars

* MemeticMutation:
** The overshadowing of Anime/ExpelledFromParadisePer OvershadowedByAwesome, Expelled From Paradise has the unfortunate timing of debuting alongside Cowboy Bebop, Arcadia of My Youth - Endless Orbit SSX and Magic Knight Rayearth, thereby giving it a RunningGag within the fandom about how belittling it is for the former to be in T. Things weren't helped when WordOfGod called its inclusion a case of being TriviallyObvious, as well as being the only new series that doesn't have licensed music attached to it. Granted, Expelled From Paradise wasn't known for its stellar soundtrack in the first place, but this only added to the series' memetic status for this game.
** "[Insert Mecha show here] is filmed in front of a live studio audience."Starting with the X version of "G no Senkou/Flash of G", this comment was turned into a popular reply due to the use of a saxophone for the vocal segments of the games' instrumental version to a series opening or ending theme - Yuusha-Oh Tanjou and Trust You Forever being noteworthy examples in this entry.
** "I mustn't run away."A reference to the memetic MadnessMantra spoken by Shinji Ikari, despite Evangelion not being in this game, Shinji's voice actress Creator/MegumiOgata does voice major Magic Knight Rayearth characters Eagle Vision and Emeraude. Even though the latter two aren't the type to run away, it looks like Ogata is not going to live down Shinji any time soon.
** Great Booster is still not approved.A gag hailing from Anime/MazingerZInfinity, at the start of the movie, the Great Mazinger required approval for using its attacks one at a time. The only weapon not approved for use was the Great Booster due to civilians being too close to the combat zone. When a Great Mazinger plastic model figure was released after the film, it was designed with a Great Booster, but by then, it was too late for developer B.B. Studio to add this attack in the game.
** VTX Corporate Philosophy X Due to the original cast being part of a modern Japanese corporation, they have a list of phrases that are supposed to be inspiring for their salarymen. Most memetic is #6: "If you don't like it, get out of here!"
%%** Due to the letter "T" in the title, expect any jokes about the dominant-asserting default-posed ragdolls.
%%** Speaking of Cowboy Bebop, an image sprite of Spike pointing his gun to the viewer is also used as a "Delet Dis" reaction.

** Angela being quarantined by DEVA System. While it's supposed to showcase how Angela has been wrongly accused by a KnightTemplar system, her being justifiably sad over it... she's reduced to a blocky SuperDeformed version of herself that looks adorably cute (the actual anime rendered her in normal size). So instead of feeling sorry over her, players may end up being distracted with how cute SuperDeformed Angela is.
