* InferredHolocaust: Destroying a power plant dam could do even more damage than just shutting down an [[ComplexityAddiction electric fence]]. For example, Jake could've caused a massive power outage of at least four different states including his own, which would result in a massive increase in crime and rioting and cause lots of deaths from heat strokes due to air conditioning being lost. Even worse, if the explosion somehow broke through the wall of a dam, there could've been a massive flash flood that could cause the deaths of millions including Jake himself. Jake is very lucky that none of these are discussed, otherwise, he would've been targeted as an international terrorist for sabotaging a dam just to get past an electric fence.

* IdiotPlot:
** Much of the game is spent by every character doing dumb things to progress the story. The main revenge story itself is kickstarted by the Devil's Hand, instead of making sure that Jake was dead, stupidly [[OnceIsNotEnough shooting him once in the side and assuming that would be enough to kill him]].
** The rest of the game is full of these kinds of moments, mainly stemming from Jake's ComplexityAddiction. Instead of following the simpler route, he always has to try the hardest possible method, and the Devil's Hand themselves are packed with the most stupid-caliber thugs ever witnessed, and they amazingly fare even worse than Jake.
** Jake's uncle Mack also deserves a mention: the reason Devil's Hand ganged up on Jake and his brother was that he was wearing his dad's (who was killed by the Devil's Hand) jacket with his old gang logo on it. Since the Devil's Hand was not in any way laying low and Mack was well aware of the bad blood between them, he might have wanted to mention that wearing that jacket could cause trouble.
** The Devil's Hand could've simply killed Mack, Jake, and Mikey after killing their dad. Instead, they waited 25 years to kill them, despite living in the same small town and Mike literally having his dad's logo plastered all over his back. Also, there was no reason they could not have killed Jake right after killing Mikey in front of him. They do know they are brothers, Jake is in shock, the Devil's Hand has several guns pointed at him, and they just leave.

* UncannyValley:
** The characters are stiff and inexpressive to the point that they can barely open their mouths - and when they do, they look disturbingly like {{Muppet}}s, sometimes having no visible teeth or tongue. The "sex" scenes are the best example of just how unnerving the characters in this game are.
** Mikey's ventriloquist dummy-like mouth flaps combined with his bizarre neck movements borders on BodyHorror.

Invalid "execution sucks" example

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: A WideOpenSandbox [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge revenge story]] set in the world of 1960s post-Vietnam biker gangs is a rather unique, original, and potentially fascinating story and setting for a video game. Too bad anything good that could come from it is buried alive underneath a steaming pile of repetitive bad fights followed by repetitive bad sex scenes. Or if literally, everything else about the game wasn't even '''worse''' than the story itself.
