You see a LOT of them early-game too.

* CrutchCharacter: In the main story, Shingen might qualify. His Rhyperior will probably be the first fully-evolved Pokemon you get, and at the point you do its Rock Wrecker one-shots nearly everything and it's a virtually indestructable tank to boot. Later on though, when the other Warlords have evolved their Pokemon, you'll find others are able to do just as much damage for far less cost. And at that point Rock Wrecker's low accuracy ''really'' starts to show.

* DiskOneNuke: Only applies to the extra chapters. Despite Links being reset, BagOfSpilling is averted for the Warlords as far as Pokemon are concerned. Meaning that if you evolved their Pokemon in the main story, they'll be evolved here. Despite their Links being reset though should still roll over any early-game opponent on account of them still being stuck with unevolved Pokemon.

* ThatOneBoss: Mitsuhide in the main story. Mostly due to the annoying FrictionlessIce you have to cross, which pretty much works like the Ice Path in PokemonGoldAndSilver except you can only move once per turn, and it makes getting into range of your attacks really difficult. Flying Pokemon can ignore the ice, but [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes guess what they're weak to, and what every enemy uses...]] Oh, and one of the generic enemy warlords has a Munna with a nasty habbit of putting everything of yours to sleep, and it's levitating so it ignores the ice. To top it all off, Mitsuhide himself is no slouch, his Lapras is decently bulky and is equipped with the AwesomeYetPractical Ice Beam. (Hits everything in a 3 square line, near-perfect accuracy and decently powerful to boot)
