* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The "turtle" chapter in Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus. A teacher is guiding children at a museum, and shows them a glyptodon a prehistoric mammal that looks like a turtle . A bunch of little kids shout "TURTLE!" at it, and the teacher tries to correct them, to no avail. She gives up, and shows them a mammoth. Unfortunately for her, one of the kids shouts, "ELEPHANT! ELEPHANT! ELEPHANT! And Tommy's comment? "TURTLE!" It's very out of place.

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: In the final book,

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: At the end of the 5th book, Tommy explains to Harvey via case file comment who stole the case file, attached an origami Princess Leia to it, and attached labels to it. He asks questions to get Harvey thinking, like "Who could make an origami Princess Leia that good? With hair buns and everything?" He answers these questions by saying, . And then, there's a label below Tommy's comment, [[spoiler: implied to be placed by Dwight: "That's Captain Dwight!"]]

* StrangledByTheRedString: A couple of cases in the sixth book. Remi is suddenly no longer interested in Kellen even though the last three books set her up as his new love interest, Kellen suddenly likes Cassie after no foreshadowing whatsoever, and Quavando and Jen are together in spite of being hostile before. It's especially jarring given how well Tommy and Sara, or Lance and Amy, were developed.

** It is suggested that Murky might be gay, so the fact that he chose Padme as his puppet and quotes romantic moments between her and Anakin to Harvey looks like Ho Yay between the two boys.

** Dwight has a moment in the final book thinking about, as awesome as it would be, it's unlikely that new Star Wars movies would get made. Cue Film/theForceAwakens and the sequel trilogy.

** Mara Jade's inclusion can be this as the old Expanded Universe, which introduced her, was discarded; while some characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn did appear in the new timeline, Mara hasn't.
