* BilingualBonus: Of a sort. ''The Skywalker Saga'' gets a ton of mileage out of the Aurebesh alphabet to hide verbal gags and add flavor in a multitude of locations. Some puzzles using Aurebesh characters can even be solved more quickly if you know the alphabet, like a puzzle in Dagobah asking you to find four stones with characters and note the number of spirits floating next to them so you can place them in the corect order...but if you read the characters provided for each button, you can recognize they're a selection of A, D, O, and Y. The answer then becomes obvious without needing to hunt down the combination--just spell YODA.

** Numerous features introduced in the ''LEGO Star Wars'' sequels actually made their debut in the Gameboy Advance version of the first game. For example, the Jedi mind trick, Invincibility power-up, and lightsaber throw, which would not be introduced to the console versions until ''The Original Trilogy'', ''The Complete Saga'', and ''The Clone Wars'', respectively.

Never mind, BB-Boss is clearly just BB-9E in a turret.

* AntiClimaxBoss: Emperor Palpatine in Episode IX of ''The Skywalker Saga'' is nothing more than a quick time event, which is especially jarring considering how several villains who never got proper fights in the films, like Jabba the Hutt and Captain Phasma, got full boss fights in the game. This is likely due to him already getting two boss fights in the main campaign as well as the Knights of Ren and his guards serving as a decent fight already, though it does mean that the final proper boss in the campaign ends up being a BB unit, of all characters.

It's actually BB-Boss, which according to Boss Subtitles is "BB-9E's big brother".

* EvenBetterSequel: The original ''LEGO Star Wars'' was great, but rather limited; for example, only Force wielders could build objects. When ''II'' came along, it got rid of several of those limitations, and additionally let you unlock the characters from the first game to sweeten the pot. ''The Complete Saga'' could count as well, since it revised the original game's levels to take in the newer gameplay elements of the second game. The same can somewhat be said for the following games after those. ''The Skywalker Saga'', meanwhile, is effectively ''The Complete Saga''... plus the graphical enhancements and content of ''The Force Awakens''... ''plus brand new content [[SerialEscalation on top of that]]''.

* UnderusedGameMechanic: This is a common remark on the combat system in ''The Skywalker Saga'': it's surprisingly deep, especially when compared to prior games, allowing for rather complex combos and maneuvers and with almost every character having their own tricks to them, but the game doesn't contain a lot of opportunities to let it swing with its full strength, as the enemies aren't particularly tough to deal with.

* UncannyValley: Well, they're LEGO figures, so they were never meant to look realistic, but in the first two ''Star Wars'' games the characters' eyes were plain black dots that seemed rather... soulless due to the design style LEGO used at the time. The later games fixed this around the same time the official sets did by adding a white dot inside the black dots that could act as a pupil.
** This returns in ''The Skywalker Saga'' with the Classic Characters DLC pack, which has several characters with their original soulless black eyes, and also with LEGO's usual yellow skin, which looks extremely off when every game has had characters with realstic skin tones.
