It's likely that what we saw in null_7 is only a small fraction of the horrors that [[ApocalypseHow Asriel's plan has inflicted.]] Additionally, Asriel's plan has warped reality to the point where several Gaster followers (aside from Spamton's cameo in the Cyber City building)are able to exist out in the open.

* FridgeHorror: Some optional dialogue in the playable null_5 reveals that [[spoiler:there is a statue of Chara on the surface, implied to be a memorial made by their [[AbusiveParents birth parents]]. This means that not only are other humans likely to recognise Chara like Lilac did (and possibly misgender them/call them by their deadname), but also that some of them are aware of the existence of monsters and believe that Chara was killed by them, which might cause problems after the other monsters are brought back]].

* FridgeLogic: In earlier some earlier sections where Frisk can be hit by projectiles, they could immediately take damage similar to Deltarune instead of initiating a "mini-encounter," except the SOUL doesn't appear. In null_4, [[spoiler:both Frisk and Chara's [=SOULs=] glow when Papybot advertises the exploding Pipis. Where does Pipis come from? Spamton. Which game did Spamton originate from? Deltarune. What did Deltarune introduce? Overworld dodging with the SOUL glowing]].

* BetterThanCanon: It's got all the charm and heart of Undertale, but it's longer. Frisk is a fleshed-out character instead of a silent protagonist, the great Papyrus is the secondary protagonist, and in general, a lot more character interaction is able to be shown with the comic not necessarily being limited to one perspective. It isn't difficult to see how it's viewed like this by many, especially with the characters and story being the main draws of the original game for a lot of people, and it even has its own soundtrack, another beloved aspect of the game, helping it further.

* BetterThanCanon: It's got all the charm and heart of Undertale, but it's longer. Frisk is a fleshed-out character instead of a silent protagonist, the great Papyrus is the secondary protagonist, and in general, a lot more character interaction is able to be shown with the comic not necessarily being limited to one perspective. It isn't difficult to see how it's viewed like this by many, especially with the characters and story being the main draws of the original game for a lot of people, and it even has its own soundtrack, another beloved aspect of the game, helping it further.
* WordOfGod: This AU is frequently confused for Underswap, which is simply just Undertale but with all of the roles reversed. Dorked says that's the ''only'' similarity it has to Inverted Fate, and even then it's handled much differently.
