* ItsTheSameNowItSucks: One of the chief criticisms of the game is that it lacks a lot of the freshness of the original, due to having very few new power-ups and a number the levels having identical gimmicks to ones from the previous game.

* SequelDifficultySpike: While combat stays mostly the same, even with newer souped up enemies you do have upgrades needed to take them on a fair ground, but the platforming sections are ''relentless''. The OneHitKill opportunities here are through the roof and all over the place. Want the shiny optional chests and the best ending? You're in for a ''real'' rough ride...

* GameBreaker: The last ability in the blue skill tree lets you recover health and stamina by ducking. While not that useful for platforming challenges, it basically destroys the difficulty in battles. Even the last boss turns into a total joke with this power-up.
** As much of a game-breaker as it is in single player, the ability is even more broken in multiplayer. With more than one player, if someone gets low on health, they can just tag out while another player focuses on the enemies as their friends recover. [[FridgeBrilliance Not unlike an actual wrestling tag team match, when you think about it...]]

* HilariousInHindsight: One alternate dimension has you playing a parody of games that aggressively sell microtransactions by making you wait or letting you pay to skip by having a very, very small adventure that takes a good chunk of time by making you wait on timers that increase how long you have to wait, ending at 24 hours of ingame time, or letting you pay in game currency to skip waiting, the reward waiting for you being very minor. Bethesda would release "The Elder Scrolls: Blades", a mobile entry that pretty much does just what that little section was making fun of.
