Per TRS, this is YMMV

Added DiffLines:

* DifficultySpike: The bosses are generally as larger challenge than anything the characters previously faced. This is also the result of the GroundhogDayLoop plot.

* MoralDissonance
** Luca of all people encourages Tamar to actually ''confront'' the ideals Hector was trying to teach him (namely: don't kill humans) in a situation where doing the exact opposite would be beneficial. Tamar initially hadn't been considering what ''he'' actually thought of the rule, just doing it because he was told to. From that point on, the non-kill policy became Tamar's, rather than just a parroting of Hector's.
** Seire claims to dislike killing wherever necessary and will only do so if he has to: but he deliberately hunted down and killed the leader of the guardsmen holding the supply buildings to ransom for no reason other than that he despised the man for his cowardice.

* CrazyAwesome: Seire, leader of Phantom Thieves Anonymous, thrives on the spotlight, deliberately does everything with as much flair and aplomb as possible and is prone to leaving chaos and destruction in his wake... and seems to find new recruits wherever he goes.

* HarsherInHindsight: The initial portrayal of Eliziya's Echolalia is more irritating and endearing than anything else. Then you realise [[spoiler: it's actually just a mild manifestation of a far more serious mental illness... and Elizia is now falling pray to the rest of the symptoms.]]

** Another good example of values dissonance is the root of [[spoiler: Julius's exile from his home. He was formerly the guardian of a young prince, whom, against the rules of his employers, taught the boy to fight. The Prince was then killed defending Julius in a brawl and Julius' exiled for his failure. Ben considers this utterly ridiculous as not giving a future ruler the skills to defend himself is in her eyes a far worse idea than teaching them to fight. ]]

** Ben herself tended to hold herself to standards higher than she did others, which led to Kevin pointing out that she hadn't expected ''her severely injured brother'' to be able to cope with his terrible situation; ergo she shouldn't demand such things of herself in the same position. Justified to a degree because Ben is expected to help run an entire country when she goes home and was raised to show tremendous skill and a high success rate.

* ValuesDissonance: Every player's character has their own moral attitude. This is particularly true regarding exactly what they will and won't kill. Jenny dislikes killing but desperately tries to assure herself that it's more acceptable if they aren't human, [[TheBigGuy Hector]] will kill anything provided it attacks him or someone else first, but refuses to kill humans, and other characters such as Salvantas have incredibly complicated moral attitudes.
