* TastesLikeDiabetes: Young Yuri's exclamations whenever he jumps is almost sickeningly adorable!

* CrossesTheLineTwice: The lead-up to the FinalBattle takes place in a VillainWorld ruled by Galdes... and he's chosen the Lilty and Selkie duo in Rebena Te Ra to serve as a sacrifice. Horrifying, until you listen to their CoolBigSis wallop ''her'' Selkie friend for informing her that she's much to old to have been picked herself.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: The Rela Cyel Flashback BGM, The main theme of the game, the final boss theme and the end credits theme. In general, the soundtrack is just made of win.

* UnfortunateImplications: There is an (optional) exchange between Young Yuri and Meeth at the beginning of the game; Where Meeth suggests that her and Yuri should have a slumber party. Yuri's reaction: [[AccidentalInnuendo "I sleep solo."]]

* ThatOneBoss: The Coelacanth in Rela Cyel. To start with, most of its stage is deep water, and the Coelacanth can suck your characters off the narrow ledge or dunk the floating platforms to drown them. Its attacks are three tracking bubbles that will damage and stun, a damaging wide-effect breath attack, and a very powerful blast from its crystal horn. Supposedly, the fight was designed to showcase Meeth's abilities--there are element vents on the ledge for her to use, but just ''try'' mixing magicite when it's doing any of the above things. Also, it spends most of its time unreachably submerged, and when it ''does'' come out, its AchillesHeel is too high for any of your characters to easily reach unless you can freeze it at just the right spot.

* TheWoobie: Yuri, ''particularly'' after [[spoiler:Latov's death]].
** Chelinka, for [[spoiler:going into a crystal coma along with being orphaned]]. And Alhanalem, for [[spoiler:being sealed in a red crystal]]. And Meeth, for [[spoiler:being trapped for years in the ruins of Rela Cyel]]... and King Kolka for the death of his wife and daughter so... every major character who isn't a Lunite.

* CompleteMonster: Galdes and ''especially'' Cu Chaspel, with the utter glee that he takes in destroying the twins' lives.

* ViewerGenderConfusion: The Lilty in Rebena Te Ru has a massive crush on her Selkie childhood friend, who has apparently been completely unaware that said Lilty is, in fact, female. In his defense, though, the Lilities are somewhat prone to possessing only TertiarySexualCharacteristics.

** The entire part between the death of Yuri and Chelinka's father up through the time Chelinka finally awakens from her coma. Yuri also reveals that he almost never slept for ''years'' to watch over her.

** Not to mention Chelinka, for [[spoiler:going into, basically, a crystal coma along with being orphaned]]. And Alhanalem, for [[spoiler:being sealed in a red crystal]]. And Meeth, for [[spoiler:being trapped for years in the ruins of Rela Cyel]]... and King Kolka for the death of his wife and daughter so... basically every major character who isn't a Lunite.
