• Awesome Music: The Rela Cyel Flashback BGM, The main theme of the game, the final boss theme and the end credits theme. In general, the soundtrack is just made of win.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The lead-up to the Final Battle takes place in a Villain World ruled by Galdes... and he's chosen the Lilty and Selkie duo in Rebena Te Ra to serve as a sacrifice. Horrifying, until you listen to their Cool Big Sis wallop her Selkie friend for informing her that she's much too old to have been picked herself.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Cu Chaspel and Gnash.
• Tear Jerker: In the finest tradition of Crystal Chronicles. There's Latov's death, the events of Rela Cyel, finding out about Lady Aleria, and the ending when it appears Chelinka has died.
  • The part between the death of Yuri and Chelinka's father up through the time Chelinka finally awakens from her coma. Yuri also reveals that he almost never slept for years to watch over her.
• That One Boss: The Coelacanth in Rela Cyel. To start with, most of its stage is deep water, and the Coelacanth can suck your characters off the narrow ledge or dunk the floating platforms to drown them. Its attacks are three tracking bubbles that will damage and stun, a damaging wide-effect breath attack, and a very powerful blast from its crystal horn. Supposedly, the fight was designed to showcase Meeth's abilities—there are element vents on the ledge for her to use, but just try mixing magicite when it's doing any of the above things. Also, it spends most of its time unreachably submerged, and when it does come out, its Achilles' Heel is too high for most of your characters to easily reach, unless you can freeze it at just the right spot. While Gnash can reach it with his double-jump ability rather easily, the Coelacanth can just as easily shake him off in no time.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: The Lilty in Rebena Te Ra has a massive crush on her Selkie childhood friend, who has apparently been completely unaware that said Lilty is, in fact, female. In his defense, though, the Lilities are somewhat prone to possessing only Tertiary Sexual Characteristics.
• The Woobie
  • Yuri, particularly after Latov's death.
  • Chelinka, for going into a crystal coma along with being orphaned. And Alhanalem, for being sealed in a red crystal. And Meeth, for being trapped for years in the ruins of Rela Cyel.
  • And King Kolka for the death of his wife and daughter... basically, every major character who isn't a Lunite.
