** As tragic it is to see Mugwort, Olie and Totl [[spoiler: be horribly mutilated later in the game]], it also comes across as darkly satisfying HumiliationConga given they have up to this point been mostly nasty jerks to Nester, only hanging out with him because he's Easter's brother.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Did Easter repress the memory of [[spoiler: mutilating his friends]] because part of him felt guilty about it, as Nester claims?

* AngstWhatAngst: Despite [[spoiler: being mutilated by the killer]], Olie, Totl and Mugwort seem rather well adjusted when Easter encounters them [[spoiler: in the asylum]]. * HoYay: Easter has plenty of this with Totl and Mugwort. Totl protected Easter from bullies since they were kids and calls himself "his knight in shining armor". While Mugwort is very loyal and protective of Easter, trying to make him smile with his antics. Interestingly, he doesn't have much interactions with Olie, the girly one of the group.

* CoveredUp: An unusual example. "Because The Night" is more associated with Music/PattiSmith than Music/BruceSpringsteen, who wrote it, then gifted it to Smith. She then rewrote some of the verses, so they are officially credited as co-writers. (To make things even more confusing, when singing it live Smith and Springsteen occasionally sing the other's lyrics, or even blend the two.)
