* SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct: Kimiko Glenn (Lena), Creator/KateMicucci (Webby), and Creator/CatherineTate (Magica) really hit the voice acting out of the ballpark in this episode. From Magica's verbal abuse, to Webby's screams of agony, to Lena's BigNo... the word "wow" is an understatement and their performances are widely regarded as a major reason the episode is considered one of season one's best.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Some fans like to entertain the idea that Huey and Dewey knew Gavin was not all he seemed and acted the way they did just to mess with Louie. This also helps to explain why Huey and Dewey, who are both very perceptive in their own rights, did not seem to see through Gavin's con at all.

I'm not sure this even was unintentional.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: Although Louie is supposed to be portrayed in a somewhat negative light due to tricking Dewey into doing his laundry, not to mention the fake charity he has Donald donating to, it's far too easy to feel for him when he is saddled with a Bigfoot who not only ruins his hoodie and steals his snacks, but is pretending to be a mindless beast who threatens Louie and his family to keep him quiet. There's also the issue of Louie's brothers treating him like a jerk when he has every right to be upset over the situation.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: The episode seems to want the viewer to side with Huey and Dewey over Louie. However, this episode goes too far in how they treat Louie and they just come off as extremely unlikable. They even get physical with him at one point, with Dewey shoving Louie and Huey punching him. Keep in mind that Louie is their baby brother.

Per clean up thread, can only apply to whole seasons or shows, not individual episodes.

* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: In a unique case, this problem doesn't befall the actually [[DarkerAndEdgier dark]] A-plot, but rather the B-plot, due to the fact that it's hard to root for any of the triplets thanks to their actions. Some fans just found the subplot to be extremely out of character for Dewey and especially Huey.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Many fans were disappointed that Huey and Dewey never seemed to find out about Gavin/Tenderfeet's con. Or that Huey and Dewey never apologized for their behavior.
** With hindsight towards how the season finale played out, Webby being (temporarily) killed by Magica could have been a way to reveal Lena's double life to the other protagonists and give her some more personal interactions with Beakley. As it is, however, Lena is practically forgotten by the others after her HeroicSacrifice in the finale.

Narm is serious moments that are unintentionally funny.

* {{Narm}}: The absurdly forced AsYouKnow between Lena and Magica in the opening scene, with both of them talking in normal tones even as they have to avoid waking Scrooge up.
* NarmCharm: Lena ''does'' lampshade how lucky they are Scrooge still hasn't caught on to them yet.

* TrappedByMountainLions: The B-plot with the triplets and Tenderfeet/Gavin. It doesn't impact the main plot at all (other than Scrooge giving up the search for the attempted dime thief when he finds Gavin), and several fans dislike it for giving Huey and Dewey the JerkassBall.

Do you have evidence that the backdraft exist? "Some people are disapointed" is definitely not this.

* InternetBackdraft: Many viewers were disappointed by the B-Story with the nephews. Not only was the conclusion unsatisfying, but were unhappy about how Huey and Dewey grabbed the JerkassBall and were uncharacteristically mean to Louie. Not to mention that it doesn't connect to the episode's main plot or the main story arc in any way; you could cut the entire B-plot out and you wouldn't miss a thing.
