It looks like this trope may have been subverted via a FreudianExcuse that suggested that she was a WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds because of a rejection of love from the Dark King, but then she somehow [[{{Up To Eleven}} FURTHERS]] her own levels of monstrosity by admitting straight up that her OmnicidalManiac based plan was perfectly fine so long as she kills the one who stole the Dark King's attention from her. It REALLY says something when the above CompleteMonster even says that Cackletta is out of her mind.]]
