The world's been saved from this re-airing because Davis threatened to sue the producers ''into the ground'' if they ever dared.

It was the 1980s, years before cable and dish became common and digital boxes would be used to get reception on high-def TVs). The only black person in it was an evil, drug-pushing inner city dweller, simultaneously promoting fear of black people and fear of cities. The irony is that suburbia didn't have that high a rate of drug use at the time. This damn thing probably ended up ''promoting'' more drug use than it stopped.
