Cross-wiking a better explaination why they were supposed to be wrong. And Strawman means created to be wrong so canonically sympathetic characters are IW instead.

* InformedWrongness: The rest of the cast is absolutely right when they point out that Twilight was acting irrationally angry when she accused Cadance of being evil in ''A Canterlot Wedding, Part 1'' (she did turn out to be right, but marching up and accusing Cadance was not the right way to go about things). However, we're supposed to take Twilight's side, even though in this fanfic she A) [[RejectedApology rejected Applejack's apology]], B) acts like a complete JerkAss to everypony about what happened (even insulting her own brother), and C) has spent most of the fanfic twisting every pony's words. The author later admitted that he had messed up with that and that Twilight WAS acting unreasonable, both in the episode and in the events of the fanfic, and has implied that she may [[NotHimself not be herself]] right now.

* StrawmanHasAPoint: The rest of the cast actually ''point out'' how Twilight was being completely irrational and obsessing over her brother in Part 1, as well as how outrageous and petty her initial accusation at the rehearsal was.

* BrokenBase: Does Shining Armor, Princess Celestia, and the rest of the Mane Six deserve being lashed out at? Was Twilight being too harsh?

* CatharsisFactor: Having Twilight tear into her brother, friends, and Celestia is much more satisfying than Chrysalis gloating to them in canon. What's more, ''everybody else'' agrees what they did was wrong.

Only applies to general fandom trends of such to the original work. Specific works doing this are Adaptational Tropes.

* RonTheDeathEater: It's a bit early to say, and it still has time to get away from this, but that's definitely a large dose of unpleasant everyone just received, isn't it?

* TheWoobie: While Shining Armor, Princess Celestia, and Twilight's friends did get what's coming to them, they do fall into this given they were essentially disowned by Twilight and are heartbroken about it.

** On the other hand, Twilight admits that she should've gathered some evidence to back her claims up, and that her friends ''did'' shoot her down without listening to her at first. Plus Cadence points out that Twilight is (or rather, ''was'') their friend and they should've been more inclined to believe her rather than the impostor that was being rude to all of them.

* JerkassWoobie: While she could arguably be a straight example of TheWoobie, Twilight definitely crosses this territory.
