• Broken Base: Do Shining Armor, Princess Celestia, and the rest of the Mane Six deserve being lashed out at, or was Twilight being too harsh?
• Catharsis Factor: Having Twilight tear into her brother, friends, and Celestia is much more satisfying than Chrysalis gloating to them in canon. What's more, everypony else agrees what they did was wrong.
• Informed Wrongness: The rest of the cast is absolutely right when they point out that Twilight was acting irrationally angry when she accused Cadance of being evil in A Canterlot Wedding, Part 1 (she did turn out to be right, but marching up and accusing Cadance was not the right way to go about things). However, we're supposed to take Twilight's side, even though in this fanfic she A) rejected Applejack's apology, B) acts like a complete Jerkass to everypony about what happened (even insulting her own brother), and C) has spent most of the fanfic twisting every pony's words. The author later admitted that he had messed up with that and that Twilight WAS acting unreasonable, both in the episode and in the events of the fanfic, and has implied that she may not be herself right now.
• Jerkass Woobie: While she could arguably be a straight example of The Woobie, Twilight definitely crosses this territory.
• The Woobie: While Shining Armor, Princess Celestia, and Twilight's friends did get what's coming to them, they do fall into this given they were essentially disowned by Twilight and are heartbroken about it.
