* UnfortunateImplications: This movie's portrayal of minorities is rather suspect, especially with the only black people the heroes met are dead gangbangers (and credited as "Gangbangers"), and a zookeper of Asian descent they meet speaks with [[AsianSpeekeeEngrish an accent]], even though in real life the actor speaks perfect English (which is particularly baffling, as director James Nguyen himself is of Asian descent). * ContestedSequel: On the one hand this movie has slightly better production values, has self aware jokes, actual (albeit poorly CGI-ed) visual effects and put slightly more effort into the acting compared to its prequel. On the other hand, the poor production values, lack of self awareness, clip art birds and the much worse acting was something others feel made the first film fun to watch in the first place.
