2	** Indie films are good, and studio films are bad.
3	** Also, the characters run into people who insist global warming is the cause of all this bird violence and other terrible things; heck, sometimes the main characters themselves start preaching it!
4	* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
5	** The cavemen. The way their "flashback" comes out of nowhere makes you wonder if that just happened.
6	** The "giant jumbo jellyfish" attack. In addition, Rod tells someone to call 911... then pulls out his ''own'' cellphone and ''gives'' it to Nathalie instead of calling 911 himself.
7	** In the museum, for some reason Nguyen had LoopingLines of what sounds like a medieval skirmish to use as crowd noise.
8	* SoBadItWasBetter: On the one hand this movie has slightly better production values, has self aware jokes, actual (albeit poorly CGI-ed) visual effects and put slightly more effort into the acting compared to its prequel. On the other hand, the poor production values, lack of self awareness, clip art birds and the much worse acting was something others feel made the first film fun to watch in the first place. This leads to a near-universal consensus that the first film is "better" despite being worse in these aspects.
9	* SpecialEffectFailure: In classic ''Birdemic'' tradition. While the birds from the first movie were conspicuously obvious clip-art effects, the new ones are "upgraded" to conspicuously obvious CGI (as well as the "giant jumbo jellyfish").
10	* TookTheBadFilmSeriously: James Nguyen, the director, seems to be the only one not in on the joke.
