* AuthorsSavingThrow: By the author's own admission, she made Yvonne near close to unlikable and has significantly planned to tone down most of her remarks in the story. For example in ''4th Show'', instead of telling Yusho that he's "too soft" about how he ''clearly'' did not things through, she is shown to find no joy on making him feel any worse than he already is. [[spoiler:This also helps to foreshadow Yvonne's feelings for Yusho and the regret she has for having to kill him.]]

* FoeYay:
** There are two instances of Zarc having a fascination with Yusho during their tag team duel, mostly when Yusho is down on his knees (due to his bad leg) and Zarc stating lines on how he wants Yusho to grovel before him. [[YaoiFangirl Dawn]] is quick to point out that the two act like lovers who separated and are having a custody battle over Yuya. The author even came up with the name "Performshipping" for the pairing.
*** In the same duel, Yuya dips Yvonne on top of the carousel they were fighting on and relishes the idea of wanting to kill her. Yvonne smirks that she's happy to gain that distinction. And earlier, she teases Yuya by asking if he's going to spank her for being such a troll.
** Despite being in a relationship with Dawn, Yvonne likes trolling and teasing Yuzu a lot. She gives Yuzu a nickname (Zuzu) smiles whenever Yuzu punches or slaps her and she's the one that Yvonne is interested the most of the three bracelet girls so far.

* MoralEventHorizion: [[spoiler:Rin allying with Zarc and then staring in glee as Dawn loses her soul has made her cross this.]]

* AngstWhatAngst: Dawn being repurposed means that she will outlive everyone else and it's brought up multiple times from other people. That said, Dawn ''is'' aware of this [[StepfordSmiler despite her smile]] but she does her best to ignore it for the time being.

** One of the members of the band "The Obsolete Men" is Hilda, on drums. ''Anime/YuGiOhSEVENS'' reveals that one of the main characters, Romin Kirishima, who's also in a band (although she's the lead guitarist while the role for that in the fanfic is Hilda's brother Hilbert)

* HarsherInHindsight: All of Yvonne's interactions with Yusho in ''14th Show'' and ''14.5th Show'' becomes this when you learn that [[spoiler:Yusho agreed to let himself be repurposed -- aka die and be resurrected by Wiraqocha Rasca -- and that she has to kill him for this to happen.]]

** Ash's most powerful monster is Wattaildragon. The Pocket Monsters 2019 anime shows that Ash now has a fully-evolved Dragon Pokémon of his own: Dragonite.

* JerkassWoobie: Yvonne Maxa is a 14-year-old snarky puppeteer who has no qualms with murdering people or stating her honest opinion on them. ''14th Show'' reveals that she's reeling from her brother's coma and tells Lady Belladonna that she cannot go back from her path of being Grand Lorde Guignol and is shown feeling uncomfortable in regards to "something" that she has to do. The end of ''14.5th Show'' reveals what this something is: [[spoiler:her killing Yusho Sakaki so he can become the Dark Signer of the Condor after the two of them have shown getting along well, as the chapter ends with her crying at what she's done.]] This girl ''clearly'' needs a hug after this.

* AwesomeEgo: Yvonne Maxa aka the Grand Lorde Guigno is a loud, snarky {{Troll}} of a puppeteer who is known to murder people with a grin on her face yet is both loved and feared by the readers. As emphasis, she even sings the first verse of [[WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder "I'm the Bad Guy"]] by another girl with an AwesomeEgo, Lord Dominator.

* CreatorsPet: It's hard not to make a case for the characters from Carroll City as this. Being able to defeat every canon character they come across, complete with KickTheDog actions each time they do so, and being treated in the ''right'' for being bitter at legitimate flaws but doing far worse, and a severe case of favoritism soon starts becoming clear.
* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: The characters from canon, good or evil, are constantly getting dunked on by the new additions, and even new legacy characters suffer from the WorfEffect from the new horror-inspired cast, who [[KickTheDog have to rub their victories]] in the others' faces. This can make it very difficult to get on board with the story as a result.
