Complete Monster example not approved by the thread

* CompleteMonster: An odd case where it's the ''[[AssholeVictim victim]]'', rather than the culprit. Lady Boynton was a abusive matriarch whose only real joy came from controlling others and making them miserable, to the point that multiple people ''independently'' discover that she was murdered and fail to report it, because they all thought one of her other victims did it. [[spoiler: In the end, she died as she lived- trying to control someone's life, in this case by blackmailing Lady Westholme.]]

* StrangledByTheRedString: Raymond and Sarah meet, exchange a few polite phrases and immediately afterwards decide they want to get married. It’s more justified in Raymond’s case, since he would cling to any hope to change his life, but it’s extremely odd for happy and independent Sarah.

**Well, not ''entirely'' happy. It's easy to miss, since it's only mentioned once, but Sarah had been engaged until a month prior to the story's beginning. The narration flat-out states that she went on vacation in order to take her mind off of things.

Doesn't fit the trope, since it happens within the several years' Time Skip

** Raymond and Sarah meet, exchange a few polite phrases and immediately afterwards decide they want to get married. It’s more justified in Raymond’s case, since he would cling to any hope to change his life, but it’s extremely odd for happy and independent Sarah.
** Both of Raymond's sisters end up married by the end of the book despite showing no romantic inclinations towards ''anyone'' over the course of the story.
