This was an unprecedented length for a single challenge and many players were not happy about it, especially since it coincided with an influx of new players whose characters had no choice but to sit around in the Common Room waiting for the challenge to finish.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Several times this happens when people playing decide to drop out, be kicked, or in one case, getting banned on the forums for something unrelated to the RPG.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In Spades, granted. At some point, someone posts a character or challenge that will mostly be rejected (mostly due to [[JokeCharacter how]] [[GameBreaker powerful]] or [[AntiVillain how]] evil said character is) or switched out in favor of an alternative. This results in missing out on having characters like [[Manga/FullMetalAlchemist Envy]] and [[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica Homura]] in the cast, as well as a challenge where the Champions are in Film/TheRoom. (though given the rules of that challenge, [[TropesAreNotBad everyone, including the creator of the challenge, thought it would fail and rejected it for the better]])
** There was going to be a Madoka Magica challenge, but the person GMing it was kicked out, and his friend ([[{{Altitis}} Or some assume himself]]) took it off the Challenge list despite a Co-GM willing to GM it.

* FlatCharacter: Gavril Madaraki is a jerk to everyone and a cannibal. That's pretty much it.

* TheScrappy: For some [[JerkSue Gavrill]].

** Their Darkhorsiness is recognized by a lot of people, as a good chunk of the Nomads made a HeelFaceTurn, and that there's plans that AGOG:I is going to be about the origins of the Nomads.

* UnfortunateImplications[=/=]ValuesDissonance: Tsuharu (A Genderbent Narumi) marrying her father has set off tons of these. So much so that even the person playing Tsuharu decided to play it for laughs.

* AccidentalInnuendo: When Fluttershy offered a ride on her back after arriving in the grassy fields.
** CrossoverShip: Which leads to Sly riding her. Fluttersly.
* LauncherOfAThousandShips: Fluttershy.
* UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny[=/=]LetsYouAndHimFight[=/=]ConflictBall: Everyone vs. everyone else in the first act. It's then {{subverted}} when the mods decided that having people fighting each other constantly does not a good game make and decide to ban the constant fighting.

However, it's {{averted}} when the characters make smooth talk with each other, much to the dismay of a couple of players. In fact, the desire to start a fight was so high, that Koragg broke character to attack Sherlock, only to resume his character again. However, the ball does get rolling when someone who is no stranger to this trope, Dalek Sec, {{invoke|d trope}}s this trope.

* UnfortunateNames: The previous season was called ''Twilight'' of the Gods. Someone noticed that Twilight and Eclipse had [[{{Literature/Twilight}} something in common]]. However, this turns out to not only be averted, but ''invoked''. The person who came up with the name said that it was after the book of the same name, but liked it to try and make it stand out on its own. So far, it's working.
