* SignatureScene: The moment where an entire subway car spontainiously sings to Mr. Rogers is quite memorable. Helps that this actually happened in real life.

* SugarWiki/DevelopmentHeaven: The crew went out of their way to make the filmed segments of Series/MisterRogersNeighborhood as close to the original series as possible, from filming in the same sound-stages at WQED in Pittsburgh, right down to using the exact same camera brand, which was so scarce that they had to be flown in from England.

* JustHereForGodzilla: For many, the main selling point of the film is the idea of Tom Hanks playing Mr Rogers as he was universally agreed to be the perfect choice before the cameras ever started rolling.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Lloyd's wife and sister come across as this when they spring the surprise that the older Vogel father is coming to the latter's wedding, the day that Lloyd and his wife are going. Then his wife gets passive-aggressive when Lloyd considers playing hooky on it. They also quick to blame Blair for the fight that breaks out at the wedding when Vogel gets him alone and nobody considers or any even asks if he could have provoked Blair. At the very least, they could have respected his boundaries about the trauma and warned him earlier. After all, as Lloyd points out, he can still hear his mother screaming when she was dying, while his father was out cheating with other women and eventually left. Neither he nor Lorraine receives an apology . It's not until the end of the movie that they respect Lloyd's boundaries, who .

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Lloyd. While he was liked by some who saw him as a nuanced character who lets go of his bitterness and becomes a better person over the course of the movie, some people saw him as a perpetually bitter Jerkass who was hard to sympathize with or care about. There were other viewers who overall liked him, but thought that he had a bit too much presence in the movie and took some screentime away from Mr. Rogers, or that his family problems were unnecessary.

Matthew Rhys was a fairly well-known before this role, so it's not really an example.

* RetroactiveRecognition: Lloyd himself is the future voice of Emperor Belos.

Not an example - this happened years before the movie was released and was deliberate dramatic irony

* HarsherInHindsight: When Fred visits with Vogel house, he says to baby Gavin that he hopes they can be friends someday. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood would end in 3 years and Fred himself would die in 5.
