** His long-running rivalry with Dragon/Ryu Lee has morphed into this. Best exemplified by their interactions in early 2020: both teamed up to face Jushin "Thunder" Liger in his retirement match and worked tremendously well, with Hiromu offering Lee a championship opportunity in the aftermath. Hasn't stopped their subsequent championship bout from degrading into another battle that saw both men do their best to try and kill the other.

* FriendlyEnemy: Towards Wrestling/WillOspreay. Best shown during The New Beginning in Osaka where all 5 Members of Wrestling/LosIngobernablesDeJapon battled 5 members of Wrestling/{{CHAOS}} in 1v1 matches (three with titles on the line). 4 of the matches had at the very least, quite bitter build-up (or in the case of Wrestling/TetsuyaNaito, cold indifference). However Ospreay and Hiromu were actually quite amicable throughout most of it, and even had Hiromu feed Ospreay fried chicken...ItMakesSenseInContext. Even after the match, Ospreay went over and gave Hiromu a sign of respect.
** This continued after Hiromu returned from injury in 2019 to challenge Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom. Despite his typical weirdness, including throwing himself around the ring to prove he's not injured, Hiromu considered Ospreay the 'strongest junior heavyweight' and hugged him. Ospreay's response (besides hilarious confusion at times) was to smile and actually return Hiromu's hug. Afterwards he went out of his way to mention how overjoyed he was Hiromu returned, and that he'd be the biggest challenge of his current title reign as Hiromu beat him on their last encounter and had never lost the belt.

* HotBlooded: In direct contrast to his stable mates, he comes out of the gate firing and doesn't stop for an entire match. Best shown in his very first match with LIJ, teaming with Naito. Compared to Naito's usual sloth like entrance, Takahashi blitzed down to the ring, continued running through it and delivered a sunset flip powerbomb from the apron unto the floor immediately to KUSHIDA. That was his [[{{HSQ}} ENTRANCE]].

** Fell into this during the G1 Climax 27 tour after Wrestling/BadLuckFale ruthlessly killed his MoralityPet Daryl. For weeks he would carry his arms as if he was carrying Daryl and never spoke a single word. Eventually broke out of this.
** Also suffered one in a backstage segment when Taichi trapped him and taunted him about his young lion days. Those young lion trunks traumatised him so much that he was forced to run away screaming when Taichi forced them onto his head.
