The kid died in his pyjamas, very clearly does not enjoy being a ghost, feels useless for not being exciting or powerful like the spectrals and spirits, all the while being incredibly {{Adorkable}}. * No one here has mentioned poor Dina Sarazu of ''Webcomic/ItsWalky'' here? The love of her life dumps her for another girl, she gets ignored and overshadowed whenever she makes an important discovery, a few of the characters hate her because she got saved from being crushed [[spoiler: rather than big boss]] and she ends up in a relationship with a violent {{Jerkass}} who is only nice when he's drunk and thinks she's completely useless.

* Leonard in ''Webcomic/SequentialArt'' is a tiny [[EverythingsBetterWithPlatypi platypus]] with a seriously bad case of bad luck, usually in form of unintentional starvation and [[http://www.collectedcurios.com/sequentialart.php?s=526 this kinds of events?]] They are '''''regular occurences.''''' It should be funny, but there's that utterly pitiful PuppyDogEyes that really makes the reader want to hug him.

* Dave Jones in ''CollegeRoomiesFromHell!!!''; the whole main cast have moments like that, really, but Dave is the designated woobie most of the time.

** Tavros in [[http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003836 this update]] especially. Basically an IneffectualSympatheticVillain with heavy emphasis on "sympathetic". Andrew just refuses to give the poor guy a break. [[spoiler: Accidentally running over his Lusus, forced to jump off a cliff in mockery of his greatest desire, his one attempt to to be assertive and helpful on his own ending up killing the grandfather of the human he had hoped to befriend...]]
** What's worse, Tavros' eventually discovers his primary tormentor has actively created the unstoppable monster endangering them all. He finally decides to challenge her, not for his own sake, but for everyone's. As soon as she realizes he means it for once, [[spoiler:she promptly kills him for actually standing up to her.]]
** And as of recently, we get more information on the other trolls; it establishes them as closer to [[CharacterAlignment the neutral end]] (with the exceptions of [[NeutralEvil Eridan]] and [[ChaoticEvil Vriska]]): [[spoiler:Sburb is destroying their home planet as well, and the reason they harass the protagonists is that the heroes' session is so screwed up it breaks their game as well]].
*** Hell, even Vriska, [[FanNickname HUGE 8ITCH]] though she is, winds up being almost tragic. While she's done a number of [[MoralEventHorizon really awful things]], it eventually becomes clear that [[spoiler:she's basically trying to cover up her self-hate and loneliness by turning herself into a JerkSue. The [[{{Jerkass}} bitchiness]], [[LargeHam hamminess]], and attempts to make herself the central character in everything are all because she's trying to live up to what she thinks her ancestor was like, and it's not until after she kills someone she knew well that she starts to realize that she doesn't actually like being the person she's always tried to be. Then, [[HeelFaceDoorSlam when it starts to seem like she's considering redemption]], she tries to go and confront Bec Noir, and Terezi kills her to stop her from leading him back to murder the rest of them.]]
** Sollux and Aradia are probably second only to Tavros in terms of {{Woobie}}-ness among the trolls. Aside from being responsible for the software's creation, both are CursedWithAwesome {{Mad Oracle}}s; Aradia [[HearingVoices hears voices]] [[spoiler: and is a ''[[KillTheCutie ghost]]'' after Sollux was mind-controlled into killing her during a flashback]], and Sollux has [[HeroicSelfDeprecation serious self esteem issues]].
** WV as well, [[spoiler:once we saw what [[BigBad Jack Noir]] [[KillEmAll did]] to the army that rose up and followed him.]] It also turned his antics with Can Town into a huge (and hugely depressing) FunnyAneurysmMoment.
** The latest addition to Homestuck's woobie list is most definitely Karkat. [[spoiler: His team is falling apart, killing each other and going insane before his eyes. He just watched one of his best friends being killed, and the killer's past self is ''hitting on him''. He's being mindgamed by a murderous, ridiculously powerful psychopath who knows exactly where he is, could destroy him in one hit, and could even be ''in the room with him right now''. Sooner or later he's going to hit his DespairEventHorizon.]]
*** Later on, he watches [[spoiler:yet ''another'' friend [[HeroicSacrifice begin to die]] in front of him,]] and starts openly sobbing when [[spoiler:he finally does die.]] It got better, but still.
** Dave, Rose, Davesprite, and Dirk all count as {{Stoic Woobie}}s. Really, most Homestuck characters end up this way eventually, though it doesn't always stick, thanks to the series being on a CerebusRollercoaster.
** Most recently, Mituna (Sollux's Pre-Scratch ancestor) is definitely one of these. The poor guy has a hard time being understood because of his mental disability, and JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Cronus keeps insulting him and [[MemeticMolester invading his personal space]].
*** Not to mention that all of his "[[WithFriendsLikeThese friends]]" treat him terribly. Cronus is the obvious one, but [[HolierThanThou Kankri]] gives him lectures about how his helmet makes people with mental disabilities look bad even though Mituna ''physically needs'' the helmet to avoid hurting himself, and when [[JerkAss Meenah]] of all people [[PetTheDog attempts to come to his aid]] by bitching out Cronus, she gets called out for being a hypocrite.
** Then there's Calliope, who a major chunk of the fanbase really, really wants to hug. [[spoiler:Even death was no escape.]]
** I'm amazed Eridan wasn't mentioned here yet. Possibly because his woobiness was a fandom creation, but his situation is worthy of it. [[spoiler: After a hard breakup with Feferi, he gets angry with her new relationship with Sollux and her refusal of his protection, and drives him to kill the only girl he ever loved.]] However, he is treated like a sad little child who just wants a girlfriend. This really tends to bother another side of the fandom, because he's in canon a GENOCIDAL MANIAC, and in fact not obsessed with getting a date.

His adoptive mother the Dolorosa had to watch her son die, then was enslaved, raped, and killed. His best friend the Psiioniic was made into a LivingBattery for [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen the Condesce's]] ship, which was [[FateWorseThanDeath agonizingly painful, and was artificially kept alive in that state for]] ''[[FateWorseThanDeath thousands of years]]''.

** Many of the Ancestors count. * Alice from ''TheSims 3'' blog ''AliceAndKev''. She just needs a nice loving family to let her sleep on their couch without kicking her out.
** What makes it worse is that she's incredibly selfless, [[spoiler:giving her paycheck to charity rather than spending it on, you know, ''food'']].

* Rumisiel in ''{{Misfile}}'' is at first glance an [[OurAngelsAreDifferent apathetic, alcoholic, drugged up, loser]] who couldn't even manage to put [[CelestialBureaucracy files back in the right cabinet]], since then however he's gained an emotionally distant father, a screwed up overachieving (and formerly mass murdering) brother, [[PsychoExGirlfriend an Ex from hell]] (almost literally), but on occasion shown a surprisingly intelligent, loyal and tender side and has become a textbook woobie.
** A better case can be made for Ash being the {{Woobie}}, considering that the condition that has caused [[GenderBender so much]] [[{{Wangst}} angst]] also makes the impulsive to give a hug both stronger and… [[FanService appealing]].

** Annie herself qualifies pretty well. Her mom's dead (and up until then lived most of her life in the hospital with her) and her dad's disappeared without a trace. Comparatively, that doesn't sound so bad until you learn that [[spoiler:none of the [[{{Psychopomp}} Psychopompoi]] were willing to lead her mother to the afterlife, so she had to do it herself.]]
*** Annie recieves an even worse revelation later on in the story. [[spoiler: She was the cause of her mothers death.]]

*** Kieri as well. She has felt inferior her whole life, because she is more of a scholar than a warrior, and considers herself weak and troublesome. [[spoiler: [[HarsherInHindsight And then it's revealed]] that she has [[AbusiveParents other reasons]] for thinking that way...]] It doesn't help that she's stuck in a completely unfamiliar world, with no idea where her brother is, and no way of getting home. Fortunately, things seem to be getting better for her now that she has some [[TrueCompanions supportive people]] in her life.

* The Sorrow, in the ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid3'' fancomic ''TheCobraDays''. Partly due to the abuse he takes from his HeroicSociopath comrades, partly because his spirit-medium powers have a distinct element of BlessedWithSuck [[http://thecobradays.net/view.php?date=2006-02-06 at times]].

* Jack from ''{{Webcomic/Zoophobia}}'' is cursed/blessed with immortality, but can still feel pain. This "gift", and his supernaturally incessant [[AmusingInjuries bad luck]], renders him practically agoraphobic and afraid of everything. Nevertheless, he's an [[{{Adorkable}} adorable]] NervousWreck who just needs love and courage. [[http://zoophobiacomic.com/?p=520 Awww.]]

* [[NightmareFuel Scapegrace]] from ''Webcomic/DaddyLongLegs'' has shades of this at times, with his extremely sad and depressing dreams, which indicate his childhood was not exactly nice and his family was [[DysfunctionalFamily dysfunctional]] and screwed up. Oh and he's probably having the same sickness his dad had, [[IncurableCoughOfDeath showing the same symptoms]], so there's the possibility that [[YourDaysAreNumbered his days are numbered]]. And really, Harvestman and Crane are pretty much his [[OnlyFriend only friends]], and even Crane thinks him to suspicious and creepy, such as the scene where he immediately thought Scapegrace to be the cause of his missing son. It's hard not to feel sorry for him.

* ''SluggyFreelance'' has Oasis being quite Woobietastic, when she's not being AxCrazy or BadAss. IdiotHero Torg gets a few moments of this during That Which Redeems. Even Aylee gets it during her visit to the parallel world where her species exists.
