* HairTodayGoneTomorrow: Both Hawkodile and Eagleator, when they were younger and in training, had hair. Hawkodile had long hair with BlindingBangs and a headband, while Eagleator had a mullet that covered his head spikes.

* BlindingBangs: Hawkodile had his hair like this before he got his shades. Master Misery has them in the present.

* AmbiguouslyGay: Master Frown and Brock give off strong shades of being in a fluffy relationship. Several episodes show that they share a single bed together, they don't mind openly giving each other hugs, and some episodes even show that they don't mind exchanging kisses. It's more of a case of AmbiguouslyBi for Master Frown, however, since he and Unikitty have some ShipTease here and there.

* AbsenteeActor:
** Puppycorn so far has only been absent in "Stuck Together".
** There's no Dr. Fox, Hawkodile or Richard in "Dinner Apart-y" and the latter two only make silent cameos in "Lab Cat".

* ItCameFromTheFridge: In "Kitchen Chaos", Dr. Fox's attempts at a "leftover preservation" test with a laser beam ends up starting up the food growth cells, turning the food into tentacled piles of mold. Thanks to shoving them back into the fridge, the mold creatures mutate into their own habitat in the fridge, attacking Dr. Fox when she heads into it to clean it. Dr. Fox's effort to kill the living green mold becomes a throwback to the classic ''Franchise/{{Alien}}'' movies.

* PottyEmergency: He intentially sends, Unikitty, Puppycorn, Dr. Fox, and Richard in "The Big Trip" to the find the bathrooms in foreign lands.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Dr. Fox is the tomboy to Unikitty's slightly girly girl.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Dr. Fox is the brainy tomboy to Unikitty's slightly ditzy girly girl.

* HumongousMecha: "Kaiju Kitty" features the gang piloting a Anime/{{Voltron}}-style mech. Despite Richard's objection that it should only be used for real emergencies, the rest of the gang think that the mech is so cool that they refuse to leave it and live in it for several months, which takes a toll on them: Hawkodile's arms atrophy from lack of exercise, Dr. Fox becomes [[WetwareCPU cybernetically linked to the mech's systems]], and Puppycorn is delirious from being awake for 36 days straight.

Instead of Creator/AlisonBrie [[RoleReprise reprising her role]], Creator/TaraStrong [[TheOtherDarrin voices Unikitty here]]. Joining her are Creator/GreyDeLisle as Puppycorn, Creator/KateMicucci as Dr. Fox, Creator/RogerCraigSmith as [[TalkingToHimself both Hawkodile and Richard, and the Score Keeper]] and Creator/EricBauza as Master Frown. The theme song is performed by Music/BabyMetal. The show's animation is also provided by Creator/SnippleAnimation, known for their work on ''WesternAnimation/BeCoolScoobyDoo'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Bunnicula}}''.

* NotSoDifferent: In "Dinner Apart-y", Puppycorn and Master Frown are both grumpy and reluctant about attending the party Brock is throwing, with Unikitty attending.

** Master Frown who's purpose in life is to cause misery and make people frown by acting as a petty jerk. He's apparently very poor at his job, even more than Master Papercuts, and possibly makes him more of a jerk to prove himself.

* LackOfEmpathy: In "Film Festival", when Richard tries exposing the corruption behind Unikitty and her friends for always taking advantage of him as a servant, everybody (including Unikitty and the main cast) mistake his movie to be a comedy and laugh at him.

* BittersweetEnding: This is an ongoing tradition of the show. Usually our heroes finally accomplish getting out of a problem they were stuck with for most of the episode, but at the end they're either in another bad situation, still didn't resolve all their problems yet, or only a fraction of the main cast get a good ending (often times Richard gets a sad ending, everyone else gets a good one).

* RealityEnsues:
** In "Action Forest", Hawkodile is weakened when his shades are removed; thanks to wearing them all the time, he forgot how bright the sun is without them. Wearing a bandanna over his eyes also does nothing, as it impairs his vision entirely.
** In "Kaiju Kitty", when the gang starts living in the mech, Hawkodile stops exercising and his limbs atrophy and become comically noodle-like.
** Puppycorn's new fun rules in "Little Prince Puppycorn" causes serious repercussions in the end. The ongoing fireworks stop people from sleeping, pizza for every meal quickly runs out and causes citizens to gain weight, bouncy houses replacing standard ones blow away in the breeze, replacing money with high-fives as payments causes storekeepers to wreck their hands, and a roller coaster highway traps people on it, as there are no exit ways.

* AllLovingHeroine: In "Bugging Out", Unikitty spares a spider [[AndCallHimGeorge and names it Abigail]], believing that everyone deserves love. Near the end, when the spider has her friends wrapped up in web cocoons, even after an intense battle, she still decides to spare Abigail's life.

* SmallSecludedWorld: PlayedWith. The world of Unikitty is shown to be incredibly small, with the top half of it literally all being Unikitty's kingdom, while the bottom half of it is Master Frown's kingdom. Although it's played with in the sense that it's been implied that directly below said planet is the world of ''WesternAnimation/TheLEGOMovie''.

''Unikitty!'' is a Creator/CartoonNetwork show featuring the eponymous character from ''WesternAnimation/TheLEGOMovie''. Originally slated for 2018, a Halloween special preview episode was aired in late October 2017, kicking off the show. A second preview episode aired in the middle of November 2017. The third and final preview episode aired in December 2017, before the show's official launch in January 2018. The show has also seen its own LEGO box set distributed.

* AerithAndBob: The names of our main five are Unikitty, Puppycorn, Dr. Fox, Hawkodile... and ''[[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers Richard]]''.
