* CelebrityParadox: The old HannaBarbera shows were all actual television shows in the ScoobyDoo universe in this movie... but not Scooby Doo itself, which crossed over into a few of them.

* HeroWithBadPublicity: Sadly Mr. Garrison was swindled out of the rights to the Blue Falcon and was not even allowed to wear the character's costume for years.

It's very heavily implied that the only person dressed as a modern Scooby monster sounds like a childish nerd, in comparison to all the respectable background nerds dressed as older characters. Makes sense why the animated films never adopted the Mystery Incorporated style like they did the What's New style when it came out.
