When the queen's scheming advisor arranges for Anneliese to be kidnapped so the marriage to King Dominick will not go through, Anneliese's tutor Julian arranges for Erika to replace Anneliese until the real princess is found.

* LoveAtFirstSight: Dominick says he didn’t want to marry a stranger, but when he sees [[spoiler:Erika posing as]] Anneliese, he actually encourages his advisor to declare the wedding to be back on, although he’s never actually spoken to her. She, for her part, is temporarily stuck speechless when they are introduced.

* MayDecemberRomance: Preminger plans this for himself and Anneliese. It's hugely creepy.
