* Badass: Heavy Maintenance Worker 01, who somehow managed to build and pilot a mech capable of going toe to toe with Tubs for extended periods of time.

''Waterworks'' is an InteractiveComic, created by [=LuFa=] as a [[MSPaintAdventures MSPA Forum Adventure]]; apart from normal and animated panels, it also makes use of Flash animations accompanied by music, ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}''-style.

It follows the adventures of Connie Cohen, a "concerned citizen" who arrives at the local waterworks to investigate the mysterious lack of water in her household. As it turns out, the facility has been taken over by a gang of thugs who apparently wish to steal the water for reasons unknown, and it is up to Connie to stop them. And, of course, then it turns out that there is far more at stake than that...

Combat and action abound throughout.

** XRayVision: One of the abilities offered by it. Though it requires the suit to release x-rays which are harmful to living beings in the vicinity.
* PresentTenseNarrative: Except for [[spoiler:Slick's backstory exposition break.]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Flush gets these as soon as he boots up his [[SpinAttack Cyclone Cistern]].

* HighOctaneNightmareFuel: Derelix.
** Even moreso, the {{EasterEgg}}s hidden in some of the later updates, for the readers to unravel within the discussion thread. They mostly consist of creepy imagery of things just as bad as what was in Derelix and creepy noises... Worse, [[spoiler:they seem to imply that there is some sort of creature for whom the "tree" in Derelix was just his tail... and in the page where Slick did an X-Ray scan of the elevator another such thing can be traced out in the background!]]

* CrowningMomentOfFunny: WORKER ZOMBIE. It's Flush's reaction that really sells it, though.
