* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In "Whom Gods Destroy", Garth was originally played by Czech-American actor/playwright Steve Ihnat, who died of a sudden heart attack three years later. Here, Alec Peters plays Garth, [[NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent not bothering with Ihnat's classically trained elocution]] (common among actors of his generation, which is why they seem to sound British) but otherwise portraying the quiet reserve Ihnat showed when Garth regained his sanity.

But I say to you our greatest challenge, is not the might of a Klingon fleet. The greatest challenge laying before us, is to do what must be done, without undoing the dream of the Federation. For myself, I have but one fear: Destroying the dream of the Federation. Compared to such a loss, I DO NOT FEAR THE KLINGON EMPIRE!

A full-feature film is currently in production called ''Star Trek: Axanar'', which has raised about $638,000 on Kickstarter (once again, much more than what was originally asked), partly thanks to Creator/GeorgeTakei publicly expressing interest in the film. Besides the above-mentioned returnees, the film is set to cast Garrett Wang (Harry Kim in ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'') as a Klingon cruiser commander. Currently, the production of the film is up in the air after Creator/{{Paramount}} slapped the company with a lawsuit. Additionally, Tony Todd tweeted that he has left the project several months prior to that.

In January 2017 it was announced that the suit was settled and production would continue, but in accordance with the new rules Paramount put in place for fanfilms during the lawsuit it would be reduced in length to two 15 minute parts no further public crowdfunding, and no ''Star Trek'' alum is allowed to participate outside of the original talent that worked in Prelude if they wish to return.
