He's also openly married to Mayor Hierotheos of Deuteron - Kilian's old chancellor.

Subverted in his ''VideoGame/{{Civilization}} V'' video, where he promises to take over the world in a handful of turns as a nation whose primary trait is having no real military - and fails miserably.

* FreezeFrameBonus: Whenever Kilian puts up a picture of a news article, you can count on it to be mostly fabricated and to feature a good number of jokes where the article should be. A fair number even chide the viewer for pausing and reading the whole thing.

* ILoveTheDead: One of the prisoners in Kilian's prison, Will [=McCord=], is in for necrophilia. Kilian thinks this to be "what, like a necromancer?"
