However, it's widely suspected that many, if not most, of the stories are actually fictional, often due to the videos having extremely implausible or nonsensical things happen within them.

He even pulls a gun on her when she tried to escape, all so he can "protect" her.

But she never specified that her granddaughter's spouse had to be ''human'', so Chichi gets a legally valid marriage to a potted lemon tree and she has to pay up.

He doesn't even back off after one of his antics gets him arrested. Eventually, it's revealed why: he had a sister named Ellie whom he was very close to, and she ended up dying in a car accident that [[ItsAllMyFault he blamed himself for]]. Caitlin ended up looking a lot like her late aunt, and he didn't want anything bad to happen to his daughter like it did to his sister.

This was because she believed that Lizzie had [[InsaneTrollLogic 'stolen her life']]. Eventually, Patti admitted what she had done to her parents after her sister had a nasty accident.

This, combined with the fact that she's been struggling with an illness for some time, causes her to think she's terminally ill. But the next morning, it turns out Sarah was adopted and her parents were worried about her biological mother wanting her back.
