In April 2022, a joke Battington made involving the creator of ''WebAnimation/TheWaltenFiles'' that was perceived to be in poor taste led to ''WebAnimation/SquimpusMcGrimpus'', whom at first approved of the remakes, [[https://twitter.com/squimpus/status/1514377994462240777 explicitly forbidding]] Battington from continuing said remakes. In 2019, ''WebAnimation/SquimpusMcGrimpus'' created the ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'' VHS series, retelling the story of [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys1 the]] [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys2 first]] [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys3 four]] [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys4 games]] in the form of AnalogHorror-style lost VHS tapes. Sometime around early 2022, due to a joke Battington made that came off as very poor in taste by many, Squimpus [=McGrimpus=], the original creator of the FNAF VHS series, has forbidden Battington from continuing the remakes. The series is now practically cancelled.
