* '''Seth:''' While not exactly a fan-favorite, Seth was a surprise hit after their overhaul in ''V'''s as a somewhat tragic, body swapped villain. The dubious [=SiRN=] corporation which plays a significant role in the story seems like an obvious cover for SIN, and their copy robots which look suspiciously like Seth would provide ample foreshadowing for Seth's return.

In Zangief’s arcade mode, Marisa is putting on an event to find a partner. Assuming that’s Marisa’s story in the game, it’s of note that Manon doesn’t turn down her challenge, and their respective endings arguably have romantic subtext.

The names are literally one letter off. [=SiRN=] is a dubious tech company with sketchy connections to JP and the Nayshall incident, who is formerly Shadaloo. [=SiRN=] makes drones and smart devices, and with the digital uplifting of Nayshall, all the districts are swarmed with convenience drones and feral smart Refrigerators that attack on sight while still impoverished and in disrepair. [=SiRN=], secretly, makes copy fighters, which copy the abilities of powerful fighters and some of which look suspiciously like both forms of Seth. [=SiRN=] is being investigated by Cammy as a potential threat, though she doesn't believe they are directly connected with Shadaloo... Similar to SIN to Shadaloo.

[[WMG: A.K.I. is a replacement for Juri]]
In SF4, Juri was a complete psychopath who relished in killing. In 5, she became more of an anti-hero, helping the heroes to get revenge on Bison and for her own twisted amusement. With Bison dead in 6, she's now fallen into a bit of a slump with nothing left to aspire to now that she wasn't able to achieve her one goal. Even characters in-universe point out that she's either sad or she's lost her edge. So in the same vein as Carnage exists for Venom, A.K.I. was created to preserve Juri's original design as a murderous psychopath. Should the two ever interact, Juri's reaction to A.K.I. will probably be a case of EvenEvilHasStandards, as A.K.I. is shown to be willing to cross the few lines that Juri won't.

[[WMG: Any serious blows to Amnesia will be dealt in spin-offs or otherwise outside of playable parts of the narrative]]
A lot of the characterization and narrative surrounding JP really emphasizes how ineffective physically engaging him is. He has an aversion to combat as show in his character guide and ending, neither his plan or goals involve combat or physical power, neither of the characters with him as a final boss we’re able to conclusively defeat him in their endings, and World Tour makes it clear that your avatar defeating him had no effect on his goals. So it can be concluded that his ambitions will probably be stopped by other means.

Assuming events involving the conception and introduction of the F-16 aren’t significantly different that’d put World Tour at the mid or late 2010s if Guile is referring to the start of its production or its first flight.

* März: Cammy does say that she was obliterated with NoBodyLeftBehind in V, but this is still a bit suspicious, given how Charlie was able to come back (and then die for good), as was Gouken. Her return could have her end up somehow involved with JP, (and possibly G and/or Gill), her dying for real to finish off JP in the end or perhaps finally earning her happy ending.
* [[VideoGame/MegaMan3 Proto Man]]: Given that Dr. Light seems to exist (on money, apparently) alongside the Mets, it’s not too implausible Proto Man could join the fight at some point. Proto Man’s story would explain his absence from 11, and could also end up detailing the end of his life as his power core depletes away and eventually kills him, with him taking to the streets to fight humans as a way to try and find his true purpose and possibly stave off his demise.
* [[VideoGame/RivalSchools Tiffany Lords]]: One of the most popular Rival Schools characters, she would also be the first ever female boxer in the series. Would also be interesting to see where she is now, possibly even being the First Lady!
** In addition, we'll be going full circle since Tiffany was designed to debut in Street Fighter III before the creation of Rival Schools as a boxer character whose spot was later filled by Dudley.
* King Cobra, finally getting his chance at being a playable character at last. He'll be established as a friend of Jamie, since Jamie's concept is similar to Cobra's, and a rival of Rufus since Rufus replaced Cobra during development of Street Fighter IV.
* [[Franchise/{{Tekken}} Jin Kazama]]. Bonus points if he mentions [[VideoGame/Tekken7 having fought Akuma at some point]], as a way of fully tying the two franchises together.

''Third Strike'' is said to take place in 1998 and going off of Mel and Li-Fen's aging from then to now, they seem to be about ten years older, as they are said to be teenagers now and look about 13-15 (for reference, Mel is 4 in ''Third Strike''). The veterans also don't look to be too much older but it's clear there was a significant TimeSkip.
