A lot of the characterization and narrative surrounding JP really emphasizes how ineffective physically engaging him is. He has an aversion to combat as show in his character guide and ending, neither his plan or goals involve combat or physical power, neither of the characters with him as a final boss we’re able to conclusively defeat him in their endings, and World Tour makes it clear that your avatar defeating him had no effect on his goals.
