Given F.A.N.G's role in Shadaloo, it's possible that she was recruited into Amnesia following JP's rise to the top. After all, she wouldn't have the loyalty to Bison that her apparent predecessor did.

* An actual [[GoodOldFisticuffs street-fighter]] whose moves consist out of [[BoringButPractical unflashy]] yet [[CombatPragmatist incredibly brutal attacks]] that would be illegal any mainstream fighting tournament, such as stomping their opponents out, punching them in the back of the neck, and of course, deliberately striking the human body's natural weakpoints, such as the [[GroinAttack groin]], the stomach, the liver, the throat, [[EyeScream the eyes]] etc., with the key difference between him and Cody is that this character would exclusively use [[BareFistedMonk their bare hands]] and would also use a far wider variety of techniques than him, such as knees, elbows, grapples, chokeholds, throws, and [[UseYourHead headbutts]], all stemming from [[TaughtByExperience fighting ever since they were a child]] against a wide variety of opponents.

One noticeable thing about the Year 1 roster is that most of them either debuted in Street Fighter V or take cues from characters that debuted in that game, with Akuma being the only exception. So it's possible that future years could do something similar and have most of the characters in that year be from the same past game, with especially popular characters being an exception.

* There could be a quest system ala ''Yakuza'' or ''Xenoblade'', interacting with the playable fighters and progressing their stories. Examples:

** Helping Li-Fen impress Chun-Li as the former is studying under her.

In Zangief’s arcade mode, Marisa is putting on an event to find a partner. Assuming that’s Marisa’s story in the game, it’s of note that Manon doesn’t turn down her challenge, and their respective endings arguably have romantic subtext.

The returning fighters in SF6 all have some surprising gameplay changes to them (Ryu's Hashogeki is now a Special in his base kit, Guile has a stronger "Perfect" Sonic Boom), but now that we know which veterans are part of Season 1, it makes one wonder what changes will be made to the veteran fighters.
