* It seems more likely that Miles-Prowler will be more akin to [[Film/DoctorStrangeInTheMultiverseOfMadness Sinister Strange]], in that Miles will have to contend with the villain he easily could have become [[ForWantOfANail if things had gone a slightly different way]], but the larger threat endangering the entire multiverse is the ultimate focus. Miles-Prowler might stick around for the whole movie if he pulls a HeelFaceTurn, but otherwise he'll just be a VillainOfTheDetour.

* Earth-16827 Peter Parker/Wolf Spider - The true mastermind behind both Miguel's Canon Event Theory (along with the cosmic disaster that led to the theory in the first place) & the Multiversial Sinister Six, the Wolf Spider would probably be the same one from [[WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan2012]] or a brand-new version created for this film, but just like the Ultimate Spider-Man incarnation, he would be an alternate Peter Parker who for some reason rejected heroism and responsibility in favor of gaining as much power as he could. The reveal of the Wolf Spider should definitely come with a proper explanation on how he became evil in the first place. The Wolf Spider would kick-start the final battle by forcibly taking over Miguel's body & using his powers against the Spider-People, whether by taking over their minds or stealing their life-force, the Wolf Spider's ultimate goal would be to rule the Multiverse. The methods Miguel pushes in the name of his Canon Event Theory being antithetical to Spider-Man's ethos of always helping those in need would make sense in a truly nightmarish way if they turn out to be the result of being manipulated by an alternate timeline version of Peter Parker, the OG Spider-Man, who is the complete opposite of everything that Spider-Man stands for.

When Miguel claims on trying to be a “good guy”, he will finally be ripped a new one by Gwen, Peter B. and the rest of The Spider-Gang for his actions, how he treated Miles, how far he's going to "keep the Canon intact" and how [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech he considers himself a “hero” when in reality he is barely even a good leader, is hostile to anyone he considers as a threat for no reason, like Miles, and doesn’t even give them a chance]], all culminating in Gwen asking Miguel, "[[ArmorPiercingQuestion What about your daughter? What would she think of you if she could see what you're doing right now?]]"

Once he gets called out, Gwen, Peter, and the rest of The Spiders from The Spider Society will abandoned him alone.

Once he gets [[WhatTheHellHero called out for his brutality as well as barely being a leader including a Spider-Man]], also for being to harsh on Miles, he will realize his actions as well as regret them.

* Ben Reilly / Scarlet Spider

Related to one above: after Miles and Gwen's team has helped Miles G. and Aaron fight the Sinister Six cartels, Miles G. will offer to help out Miles in return. He follows Miles to 1610, and, upon realising that Miguel and other Spider-people are still there looking for him, the two agree to switch places: Miles G. dons the Spider suit while Miles dons the Prowler one, in order to make Miguel chase after the wrong one. Miles G. will avert Miguel's attention while Miles and Gwen's team go after Spot/looks for Jeff (alternatively, they attempt to ambush Miguel themselves while he's distracted by the wrong Miles). This may possibly be played as a trick to the audience as well as they don't show the switch happening, and the reveal only comes when Miguel catches Miles only to remove his mask and realise in shock he's a different one. Obviously, this will serve as a nod to how the two Miles were originally going to have each other's fates. Bonus points if they have a conversation later on what they thought about wearing the other's suit, with both of them agreeing that they're used to and prefer their own at the end of the day.

Since the sequel film, Across The Spiderverse is going to show Jessica Drew, and Spider-Man 2099. Any of the Spider-Man Counterparts will likely appear in both second, and third film of the Spiderverse sequels.

Despite chasing after him for some reason, they do want to help Miles on protecting and defending the Spiderverse/Multiverse, but are likely chasing after him due to being ordered by Miguel.

* Is possible that he isn't a multiversal threat on his own, but rather a man that powers are the true enemy and he is just being forced to play the role of a villain.

** That could be also the reason of why all the spiders are after miles, because he is just trying to help the Spot, but they think that he is a menace and need to end him.

Since Miguel appeared in the mid-credits as well as the 67 Spider-Man as cameos in the previous film, there are possibillities on who else will make a cameo in TheStinger as a SequelHook that could set up Beyond The Spiderverse.

Despite being ordered by Miguel on chasing Miles for some reason, it is likely it was only because he wants to help Miles understand about being Spider-Man including on helping the Spiderverse/Multiverse. Not to mention that this Peter did felt remorse for his actions, such as for letting Electro/Max escape, letting the Venom Symbiote control him, and for supposedly letting Harry’s father, Norman, died after the latter revealed himself to him as The Green Goblin.

For some reason Miguel and The Spider Society are chasing after Miles despite him being a Spider Hero as well.

Because of how the film has another sequel, it could be possible that it will have Miles end up trapped in another world where it reveal an alternate version of Miles being The Prowler of the universe, which will end on a Cliffhanger and will continue on Beyond The Spiderverse.

Despite all of the other Spiders chasing after Miles for some reason, it is highly likely that there doing their jobs, and are doing what is best for him.

Once they realize what they have done, there are possibilities of them [[HeelRealization realize that he is innocent]] it is highly likely that they will [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone regret]] for being too hard on him.

Because of how in one of the trailers or tv spots shows Miguel having fun with his daughter, may indicate that [[FreudianExcuse he had lost her]] which could explain his bitterness personality.

Despite them currently only consisting only nine members so far that departing from The Spider Society so far, there is a chance that a few more could join over in Beyond The Spiderverse.

Most of them may be working for Miguel including on protecting The Spiderverse, but a few do at least have care, concern, and sympathy towards Miles despite chasing him.

I mean there is going to be another film of The Spiderverse, which is Beyond The Spiderverse.

Since Beyond The Spiderverse will be resolving as Part Two of Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse, it would make sense since a few of them including the other animation, video game, and live-action ones haven’t appeared yet.

spoiler: Because of how hostile Miguel is towards Miles despite being claimed to be helping him as a defender in which he has been nothing but very cynical and harsh towards his teammates including Miles friends such as Gwen and Peter.

Despite all of the other Spiders chasing after Miles for some reason, it is highly likely that they're doing their jobs, and are doing what is best for him.

Because of how there likely concern for Miles, want what is best for him, as well as let him know on how much Spider-Man is an important role to him, they’ll likely regret chasing him and will start beginning to help him take down The Spot from destroying the multiverse.

As a callback to the villains of the original Spiderverse, and in the sense that he has "inherited" the dimensional powers from the colliders of the multiverse

* It was the supercollider experiment that gave the Spot his powers, so naturally they should know what to do in order to stop Jonathan. In addition, Olivia became stranded on Earth-42 after her hilariously anticlimatic defeat in Into the Spider-Vese, and she'll be forced to form an alliance with Miles so they can escape. Finally, bonus points if they have Kingpin quote his counterpart from WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries.

* And of course.... ''[[spoiler: [[WebVideo/{{Smosh}} MANSPIDER!]]'']]

* Noir and Ham weren't part of the Spider-Society at all, meaning they either didn't get invited, or Miguel purposefully kept them away for whatever reason. While Peni ''is'' apart of that group, she looked absolutely miserable on the brief amount of screen time she's given, which could imply she suffered another traumatic event off screen.

While Gwen's motives, thought processes and actions are very much understandable and justified by where and how she was at that point, it still made things that much worse for Miles, who was already going through some pretty rough patches in life himself. We as the audience see where she's coming from, but it's evident that Miles lost all trust on her by the time he escaped the Spider Society, because PoorCommunicationKills and everything she could've said or done came too little too late for him, especially at the mercy of his alternate reality self.

Maybe knowing Miles is Spiderman plays a part in saving him without risking the multiverse.

And for the heck of it, might even lighten his grounding sentence.

We've already seen the spot use his power to portal cut a webline, who's to say he doesn't get more ruthless about what he severs with it? Peter B with daughter Mayday in tow is looking more like the Peter Parker of the original Spider-Girl comics that feature her as a teen- a world where Peter lost his leg in a fight with the Green Goblin and had to retire from being Spider-Man. Perhaps ol' Peter B is destined to lose his leg like his comics counterpart, forcing his retirement at the film's climax, but leading to potential future Spider-Girl films.

Despite being a colder EvilCounterpart Version of [[LegacyCharacter The Prowler]], he does appear to care about his brother, as it is heavily implied that He and Miles did a graffiti of him.

* Adding onto this, perhaps losing whoever she lost was Jessica’s DeathByOriginStory as most Spider people lost someone close to them showing them that they cannot save everyone.

With the Spot too big even for SP//dr to fight, Peni flees and tells the others she's going to borrow a weapon from "a friend." When she returns, we hear a familiar quote off screen in Japanese: [[spoiler: "[[Series/SpiderManJapan An emissary from hell, Spider-Man]]!" Then comes Leopardon]].
* [[spoiler: Bonus awesome points if it's a Leopardon suit in live action, maybe even against a still-2D-animated Spot.]]

Beyond could have a few of her variants encounter or meet her throughout the Spiderverse either during or near before the final battle with The Spot, telling her the importance of being a hero including a good mentor to her protégé.

In the official poster for the movie, of all the spider-people that can be noticed, Gwen, Spider Man India, and Spider Punk are all depicted on the right side, and they all eventually defect from the Spider Society in order to go rescue Miles. Miguel, meanwhile, is depicted on the ''left'' side, and he has every intent to get rid of Miles once and for all. Considering this, the poster might be a slight clue as to which Spider-Men will join the Spider-Gang for ''Beyond'', and who are going to remain on Miguel's side.

With the MCU's Multiverse Saga running concurrently with the ''Spider-Verse'' film series, it might be depicted in the art style of the similarly-PaintedCGI ''[[WesternAnimation/WhatIf2021 What If...?]]'' series or the [[AlternateTooniverse same live-action style with the Raimi and Webb films and Sony's Spider-Man Universe]]. Having similar story arcs to each other with threats to the multiverse, ''Beyond'' could make references to some events in the MCU, or feature the TVA, Kang or the Watcher.

Since neither got to have comic-eqse character backstories like everyone in the ''Into the Spider-Verse'', Pravitir, and Hobie, it would awesome to see character of backstories of Margo the and Jessica. And anyone else who joins the Gwen's gang against Spot and the Spider-Society would also be a bonus point!

* For Jessica's case, she should get a backstory sequence after she (hopefully and should) [[HeelFaceTurn switches sides and joins the gang]] after finally deciding that Miguel is too far gone with his "Cannon Event" and "Anomaly" theories and see that Miles and Gwen are right that [[ScrewDestiny destiny can be changed]].

The reason that Miles was transported to Earth-42 instead was because the machine scans which spider bit which Spider-person to avoid transporting them to the wrong dimension. Since Miles was bitten by the spider that came from Earth-42, he was transported to that world instead.

[[WMG: Miles isn't supposed to be Spider-man, which means he won't follow Canon Events]]
If Miles isn't supposed to be Spider-man and is instead just someone with the same powers, it means he won't undergo Canon Events like the death of a police captain. If this is true, it means Uncle Aaron's death was just a coincidence, he may have been Miles' uncle but his death never had to happen.

[[WMG: Spider-Ham and Noir refused to join the society after they learned about Miles and the group's intentions.]]

Because of how Doctor Strange's spell worked, it's impossible for Toomes to have ended up in the SSU were not for unconventional means. A possible explanation being that the multiverse-breaking events of ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'' were responsible for creating an anomaly not unlike the Super-Collider, causing Toomes to end up in an universe in which he doesn't belong. Miguel does seem to see MCU Peter in a similar manner as Gwen in the beginning of the movie, so it is not too farfetched.

** Similarly, the MCU version of the Prowler got lost in the Multi-verse due to Doctor Strange's spell and is captured by the Spider Society for that very reason. The specific line from Miguel does indicate that the spell was a massive anomaly that they were likely dealing with prior to the events of the film.

Not saying this is how it actually works, but since Miguel seems to only concern himself with the continuity of other Spider-people, it's possible this is how he justified it:

[[WMG: Universes aren't being destroyed due to canon events being stopped; they're destroyed because the "Collider Incident" ''is'' a cannon event.]]
In much the same way that Uncle Ben/Gwen Stacy moments happen across different universes, each universe will inevitably have its existence threatened by an individual like Spot/Kingpin or a group like Alchemax, which one or more Spider-people will have to stop. Even before Spot arrived to Pavitr's world, his version of Alchemax had a working super collider on the same scale as Kingpin's. With or without Spot, that collider would have caused some form of damage. The universe Miguel thought he destroyed wasn't erased due to his interference, it was destroyed due to a similar collider event ''not being stopped'' by that Earth's Spider-Man.

Similar to the above WMG but with Miles instead with the Prowler connection still being there now that we see that its possible for Miles to become the Prowler as well. It would give him a police captain to mourn, a reason why he got attached to Miles so quickly, and an explanation on why they can both do the hand thing to remove barriers. I also think this is more likely than the alternate Aaron hypothesis because Hobie has more facial similarities with Miles than with Aaron. Finally, this could explain why Gwen clicks so well with Hobie.

The Earth 19999 referenced by Miguel is part of the same multiverse (the Spider Verse) where this movie and the previous one take place. The Earth 616 that is the center of the MCU multiverse and that was created by the death of He Who Remains is virtually identical to it, with some difference owing to different multiversal rules and the presence of Kang. Earths that have crossed over with both the Spider Verse and the MCU, such as [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Film/SonysSpiderManUniverse Sony's Spider-Man Universe]], also have duplicates.

The idea of Miles "breaking canon" seems like a jab at comic readers who can't accept change and want everything to stay the same. Miguel telling Miles he is not supposed to be Spider-man could also be a jab about real-life comic readers who think Miles should not be Spider-man. Miguel represents the REALLY obsessive comic fan who becomes unhinged when a lore has been changed.

[[WMG: Earth-42's "missing" Spider-man means other marvel heroes aren't present either.]]

Miles got bitten by a radioactive spider that was supposed to bite Earth-42's Miles, but the canon events are being tracked via the spiders that give each Spider-Person their powers even though they're tied to the individual people. Miguel is confusing the canon of Earth-42 Miles with that of the Miles that the audience follows. The Officer Jefferson Davis that was supposed to die already has died and Miguel is confusing the two worlds canons because the radioactive spider hopped dimensions. He's trying to let Miles' dad die for no reason and isn't aware of it. Furthermore, Miles already went through his own canon loss when Uncle Aaron died. Our Miles was originally supposed to be a heroic Prowler.

* [[DeathByOriginStory The death of a loved one]] that teaches the Spider the importance of [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatResponsibility responsibility]].

[[WMG: Earth-42 Prowler will be the BigBad of Beyond The Spiderverse]]

Owing to his status as the anomalous Spidey, Miles' backstory has caught both Miguel and Lyla's predictive model off-guard. Jefferson's promotion to Captain is a red herring. The captain fulfilling that role in Earth-1610B Miles'life is his late uncle Aaron. Who indirectly died on account of Miles' actions while a high ranking member of Kingpins crime syndicate, potentially holding the rank of Capo. Additionally, Miles' indirectly causing his uncles death is reminiscent of Uncle Ben's fate in some adaptions.

Miguel shows some very obvious signs of vampirism in Across the Spiderverse. He grows fangs and becomes visibly paler at several moments, and he has none of the traditional powers of a Spider-Man (his webs are hard light, he doesn't have a spider sense, he has to use his claws to climb walls).

* With the idea that E-42 Miles should have been his realities Spider-Man, 1610 Miles will convince him to become a hero as well, either as Prowler (original 616 Prowler is not a villain) or a reband his equipment to let him be a powerless version of Spider-Man as fulfillment of the first film's idea that ''anyone'', powers or not, can be spider-man.

* If she has a speaking role, famous canadian VA Creator/TaraStrong will voice her.

[[WMG: Gwen will "die", but Miles will revive her by using his electricity to start her heart.]]

* Spot sees Miguel's Spider-people gathering around the Morales residence and backs off, even if they were sent there to ''make sure'' he kills Jefferson

Gwen's father survived, so he won't die-but Gwen still suffers from the rift between them, and later from betraying Miles and getting thrown out of the Spider Is

One of first signs of Miguel's SanitySlippage but also his own undoing. As the search for Miles proves fruitless, Spot gets fed up with Miguel's preaches only for Miguel to call Spot as "just a villain". This causes Spot to see that even when he's all-powerful, he's still treated as basic, causing him to go from hurting Miles to destroying every Spider-Man across the Multiverse, starting with the Spider Society.
