Due to the recent seasons' protagonists all being naive girls who insist on [[EasilyForgiven showing unearned mercy to all the villains]] (or Nodoka in ''Anime/HealinGoodPrettyCure'' who showed mercy to none of the villains), Sora should be not be another static character who doesn't change throughout the whole season. Sora seems to be a character who will be more-rounded and go through CharacterDevelopment as the season's story goes on. Perhaps she'll also develop a better balance between forgiving the more sympathetic villains who show redeeming qualities and killing the more truly evil villains who cross the MoralEventHorizon and prove to be [[CompleteMonster Complete Monsters]], instead of insisting on one or the others.

Adding onto the theory above, all the Cures in this season's team should each go through proper character development to become better heroines as the season goes on. From personal growth, developing romatic feelings, and most importantly figuring out their boundaries about forgiveness and offering second chances (as mentioned above, they should learn to be careful about which villains they offer redemption to and which need to be taken out). Fans have complained about how annoyed they are that recent Cures tend to not develop and stay the way they are for most of their seasons (especially the naive and dimwitted ones). Hirogaru Sky should be an opportunity to shown what real CharacterDevelopment in magical girl anime looks like!

Resulting in the death of Emperor Undergu, the tarnish of the Undergu Empire and the grudge of the now Empress Undergu. Princess Elleelain wasn't responsible, but was thrown under the bus, at least in her relation to Undergu.
