Particularly fitting since the English versions of both the original ''TLJ'' and ''Dreamfall'' were released in April (2000 in UK and 2006 in NA, respectively), and April has a rather symbolic meaning in the series.

* The frequency with which Propast residents use the words "wake up" and similar expressions is alarming. Almost like a subliminal message...
** The story seems to be heading this way at the end of Book Two, where we are shown a comatose Zoë back in the Casablancan hospital again. Interestingly, in Book Two, Kian is likewise repeatedly told to "wake up", despite never visibly manifesting any dream-related powers.

[[WMG:Who or what Saga is]]
This may be obvious to some, but let's get it out there: Saga is [[spoiler:a reincarnation of April Ryan]]. Hints given so far:

* Saga's birth is [[BirthDeathJuxtaposition deliberately juxtaposed]] with [[spoiler:April's funeral (since her death already happened off-screen in ''Dreamfall'')]].
* A spirit that looks a whole lot like the White Dragon's human form from ''Dreamfall'' calls Saga [[spoiler:"sister-daughter"--a relationship previously established between the White Dragon and April]].
* The subtitle of Book One is "Reborn", and it explicitly concerns the spiritual (and partly physical in one case) rebirth of two out of three of ''Dreamfall''[='=]s protagonists. [[spoiler:It stands to reason that the third protagonist would be reborn, too, even if it goes far beyond just spiritual in her case.]]
* Further evidence from Book Three: [[spoiler:Saga's drawings basically depict the key episodes of April's journey from the first game, and when she puts them into a correct order, a Shift opens and she walks through]].
** Confirmed by Abnaxus in Book Four.

[[WMG:April Ryan wasn't the first]]
[[spoiler:April Ryan wasn't the first incarnation of April/Saga. We know from ''TLJ'' that April is ostensibly the daughter of the White Mother... who presumably resided in Arcadia for the past twelve thousand years to preserve the Balance. Yet April herself was adopted by the Ryan family from a ''Starkian'' orphanage, which leaves open the question of how she crossed the Divide in such a young age. However, as we have just seen in ''Chapters'', April/Saga's reincarnation ability transcends the boundaries of the Twin Worlds, so she can be reborn in the House of All Worlds (which we've seen to exist somewhere in-between, since April has to Shift to there in ''TLJ'') after dying in Arcadia. It then follows that she could just as well be reborn in Stark as April Ryan after her previous incarnation died in Arcadia about thirty years ago. And that reincarnation needs not to have been the first, either: it is possible the White Mother gave birth to April/Saga specifically to be able to influence the affairs in Stark without leaving Arcadia.]]

[[spoiler:As for April/Saga's real age, we can conjecture that she couldn't be more than a few centuries old, since by the time the events from ''Silver Spear of Gorimon'' occurred, she was still "unborn", and the fall of the Bakshevan Empire is dated several centuries before present (admittedly, Arcadian time keeping is extremely fuzzy).]]

[[WMG:Queenie is to Zoë what Lady Alvane is to April]]
Zoë says she wants to "be Queenie" rather than just "like Queenie". So what if Queenie is actually Zoë from the future? It's not like no protagonist has ever met her older self in person in this particular series.
* Zoe would have to become full-bloodied Chinese and lose a lot of height.
** She is half-Chinese already and there is a [[MiniatureSeniorCitizens trope]] for the other thing.

Not long after you speak to Reza, you see someone sitting on the bench nearby the "Hand that feeds". He has a name, and Zoë can't speak to him, but will say "I remember him..."
* There are many people in Europolis whom Zoe seems to remember, but they are most likely the Dreamachine victims she saved while in Storytime.
** If I recall, they are Kickstarter backers who get names in the game.
*** Considering that one of the names that prompts these reactions is that of voice actor Creator/EdwynTiong, this seems to just be the Kickstarter backers.

[[WMG:Kian will become a Shifter]]
Zoe has her own powers, but Kian does not. However, it would make no sense that this dual world problem would be solely Zoe in Stark and Kian in Arcadia, because that would keep the worlds separate. Without a Shifter (and Saga still a toddler), it would be two separate worlds.

Reincarnation might be possible, but April might serve as a SpiritAdvisor when Saga is unable to remember the White Dragon.

[[spoiler:Saga is April and Lady Alvane]], obviously. Is this even a WMG?
* [[spoiler:Saga is April most likely, but the creators have said [[http://web.archive.org/web/20090129231420/http://ragnartornquist.com/blogger/2003/09/got-to-play-colin-mcrae-04-at-office.html that the German translation that had Lady Alvane say she was April was incorrect.]] Lady Alvane never revealed herself to be April in their original script. Whether she will be revealed as such is anyone's guess at this point. She could be Kian's daughter for all we know. The House In Between Worlds is Lady Alvane's house post-reunification of the two worlds. Where it is when baby Saga is born is hard to say at this point, but the house looks newer and cleaner there. Saga's father states that they are most likely the first inhabitants of the house.]]

* Continuing from this, Zoë's decision point could be to change her vote to Wolf, or vote for Uminska. In order to keep with what WordOfGod said (that the lines would be a bit more greyed), who Zoë votes for will win the election, and they both turn out to be well for Europolis. However, the major consequences is that if Zoë votes for Wolf, she will be called out on it and be implied to lose her friends.

[[WMG:Whatever Robot Zoë uses in Chapter 3 will be important later on and directs Zoë to go somewhere]]
The context will change, however - with Shitbot, Mira probably finds something unusual in his programming. Whereas with the functional robot, either it breaks down and Zoë goes to Mira's to have it repaired or maybe Mira realizes "OhCrap - I forgot to delete something important from that robot".

* Reza's relationship with Zoë will be altered depending on her culinary choices and whether or not she paid attention to him - this will make the WhamEpisode involving him more shocking or less. (There's definitely ''something'' up with Reza...)
* Kian will, at some point, meet someone who is related to the person in the keep, and will give the message. Telling them whether or not he was the one who killed him will be a choice and bring immediate consequences. (Either you say you killed him to end his suffering, or tell them you couldn't do it.)

* If Kian spares the warden, the warden will be executed but Kian can tell his family that he spared them.

* The choice to stab the person at the end of the tower was a SecretTestOfCharacter - either to see if he can obey their orders, or if he is willing to atone.
* Mr. London will either send goons after Baruti or Zoë depending on whether to not she chose to intervene.

Both are badass redheads who have a tendency to get involved in situations better left to the protagonists. It may be possible that [[spoiler:Anna is Hanna's "dream presence" in Arcadia, now that we know that Hanna is a Dreamer, but it is very unlikely, as Anna has been pining for Kian for more years than Hanna (who, in one story branch, rekindles a relationship with her girlfriend) has been alive]]. Still, there may be a connection between the two.

She seems to know a hell of a lot about Zoe and what's going on, she has a dragon motif going on, there's a lot of blue around her and she's always near water(whereas the blue was found at the bottom of the ocean).

* Just to toss in a spoon of additional suspicions: IIRC, Yaga warns Zoe about "an wizard in disguise who wishes to use her quest for his own advantage". Whil this can be more or less anyone, Westhouse is definitely the most suspicious character as of yet.
** in addition, remember in Dreamfall, Westhouse was in the library as the white Driac Kin was attacked...

[[WMG:April/Saga and the White Kin are technically the same being]]
In Book Four, Abnaxus says that April was reborn simultaneously as the Dragon of Spring (White Kin, most likely) and the Girl Who Walks Between Worlds (Saga, obviously). In ''Dreamfall'', however, the White Kin was attacked and presumably killed about the same time as April, so it's quite possible that when Abnaxus spoke of April being reborn, he referred to both of them simultaneously. Seeing how intimately April is tied to the Balance, she and the White Kin may be a smaller reflection of the Twin Worlds: separate and inseparable at the same time.

[[WMG:The Prophet's true motivations]]
At the end of the story, that which was heavily foreshadowed right from the beginning of the first Dreamfall —that [[spoiler:Brian Westhouse]] is the Prophet, and is also the one who pretty much single-handedly engineered the conflict of the second and third games— is confirmed. Their whole motivation for building and activating the Engine is stated to be so that they can [[spoiler:return to Stark, their homeworld, from which they'd been entirely cut off for an incredibly long time.]] It's also implied that their desire to accomplish this in such an elaborate fashion, which would involve merging the worlds, was partially influenced by the Undreaming— but in the end, we also learn that [[spoiler:the Undreaming isn't actually evil, but just a natural counter-force to the Dreamer, Lux, and thus part of the order of the Balance]]. So, why was the Prophet so adamant on finding and developing this way to travel between the worlds?

Well, if you recall, the reason why [[spoiler:Brian]] ended up in Arcadia to begin with was because they [[spoiler:visited the Tibetan monastery and took part in the dream-ritual, which also led him to pass through Dreamtime, which Cortez, who pretty much led him there, probably knew was gonna happen]]. So why were they searching for a way to travel between the worlds in the first place (before arriving in Arcadia), with their eventual development of the Engine leading them to control it so thoroughly instead of trying to find a quick way back home?

My theory is that [[spoiler:Brian is really Magnus, Saga's father]]. In the story that gradually develops during the Interlude segments, we can see that [[spoiler:Magnus is devastated by the loss of his wife Etta, who disappeared in the passages between the worlds, never to return, and this is only aggravated once Saga begins shifting and pretty much disappears as well.]] We don't really see what happens to him after that point, nor do we ever get a straight explanation on how travel to and from the House of All Worlds works or if it is truly reliable for anyone. After [[spoiler:Saga's disappearance, Magnus]] decided to throw caution to the wind and went running out to the pathways between the worlds, eventually ending up in Stark (which was also their own homeworld), from which they then travelled to Arcadia while continuing their search, and finally became the Prophet in order to devise a way for them to access all possible worlds at their leisure, all for the sake of [[spoiler:finding Saga and possibly Etta once again]].

If nothing else, there's also the fact that [[spoiler:Brian and Magnus]] are physically quite similar. This also adds quite a bit of tragic irony to the climactic sequence in Book Five, as [[spoiler:Saga is involved in helping the heroes in both sides of the Divide by opening and maintaining a Shift, which, due to the way the inside of the Tower is laid out, essentially means that her and Brian/Magnus are in the same room]], but they never become reunited or even seem aware of each other's presence, and further in the very last scene where [[spoiler:Lady Alvane/Saga imagines that her parents were eventually reunited somewhere]].

(Also, the disappearance of [[spoiler:Magnus' Scottish accent]] could be chalked up to [[spoiler:him having to live in Boston for a few years, which is where Brian claims to be from]])

* Wasn't Brian blonde before he went grey though? Magnus has black hair.

[[WMG:Saga's "Uncle Galath" is actually Cortez]]
Although he never appears in person, Saga mentions "Uncle Galath" multiple times throughout the game: he acts as her godfather, part-time mentor, and later helps Magnus create the wards that prevent Saga from Shifting away. Considering that the lead writer has not discounted the possibility of Cortez appearing post-''Dreamfall'', we can be fairly certain that he is still alive by the time of ''Chapters'' and, considering how much effort he had spent mentoring and protecting April, it is only consequent that he would do the same for her reincarnation. He can even be considered her actual "uncle", in a roundabout way: Saga is a reincarnation of the human daughter of Cortez's fellow Kin, and the Kin seem to consider each other siblings, if [=McAllen=]'s dialogue in ''TLJ'' is any indication. Finally, in the epilogue, Saga mentions that her uncle Galath has since departed "to the stars" forever, which is exactly what the Kin had planned to do after the reunification, according to the Blue Kin in ''TLJ''.
