[[WMG: Sersi will be revealed to be one of Strange's ex-friends before his accident]]
In the comics, Sersi was a socialite who enjoyed mingling with the upper class, which at the beginning of Doctor Strange, Stephen very much is. Imagine the reunion when Strange, now Sorceror Supreme, finds out an alien god was hiding right under his nose all those years.

* Since Creator/SamRaimi is now directing the film, ideas for two interdimensional cameos:
** A brief stop into the universe of the ''Film/SpiderManTrilogy'', featuring an appearance by Creator/TobeyMaguire's Spidey.
** Obviously, Creator/BruceCampbell will have a cameo... but [[UnexpectedCharacter to the surprise of the audience]], his cameo is as none other than [[Franchise/EvilDead Ashley J. Williams]] himself, brought about by a brief stop to his universe. Hey, there's a bit of precedent here; ''ComicBook/MarvelZombies vs. Film/ArmyOfDarkness'', anybody?

** ''[=WandaVision=]'' isn't an in-universe TV show, and this makes no sense even if it was. The series was announced to be set after ''Endgame'', and it involves a sort of return of Vision, who wouldn't of even been destroyed at the proposed time period. Also, Wanda isn't a TV star, so why would she be filming a TV show?

Added DiffLines:

** Who does this crowd consist of exactly? The other Mystic Arts practicers? Random people on the street? It couldn't be the characters he only meets for the first time in ''Infinity War''.

[[WMG: Agomotto leaned everything he knew about the mystic arts from studying the time stone.]]
We learn very little about "the mighty Agamotto'' except that he founded the mystic arts and made a tool that allowed an adequately skilled human to wield the time stone. When Thanos uses the stone in Infinity War it creates the same circles that it does when Strange uses it. These circles resemble those used by sorcerers normally but the stone is stated to be as old as the universe, so it makes sense that this is simply a quirk of the time stone that the others don't share. We've seen in other movies that the infinity stones can be used in ways that don't specifically pertain to their spheres of influence, Red Skull used the Space Stone as a power source, Malekith and Vision used the Reality and Mind Stones, respectively, as physical weapons. Agomotto must have had incredible mental prowess to harness an infinity stone successfully, and may have learned that the same abilities could be used to harness extra-dimensional energy. Since he was already proficient in using the time stone, he could've used similar hand gestures for new spells and caused the energy to manifest in aesthetically similar ways to the time stone's power.

[[WMG: A potential, believable plot for the sequel.]]
Doctor Strange and Wong defeat a lesser demon and retrieve a new artifact for the New York Sanctum Santorum. They return to find that the place has disappeared. This was done by Mordo somehow, who watches them from a distance before using his magic to attack and kill a random sorcerer who was dabbling in dark magic. Strange and Wong relocate to a rented section of an office building so they can try to bring back the Sanctum from there, unaware of Mordo's actions. Sara Wolfe appears as a woman who wanted to ask if they needed a secretary, since they claimed to be lawyers when they rented the room and she overheard them. Wong and Sara almost instantly become attracted to one another and flirt, much to Strange's irritation. A chalk meditation circle they were going to use in their location spell suddenly surges with dark magic and causes an explosion. Clea exits from the smoke and tells Strange and Wong of the sorcerer Mordo killed, who was trying to help her escape Dormammu's realm. With information provided from Clea, Strange creates a list of magic users he believes Mordo will kill next. Strange, Wong, and Clea attempt to stop him from killing another NYC based magic user and succeed, but they are ambushed by Silver Dagger, a new ally of Mordo in his war against magic. Silver Dagger has magic dampening weapons that are able to fend off their attacks, which gives Mordo enough time to recoup and teleport himself and his ally away. The heroes attempt to follow, but the demon from earlier has appeared in their rented office and is attacking Sara, so Wong teleports there to save her while Strange and Clea follow after Mordo. They arrive at a mysterious temple and chase after Mordo and Silver Dagger inside of it until they all eventually encounter Aged Genghis, a wizard who is Mordo and Silver Dagger's target. Back in New York, Wong saves Sara from the demon and takes her to where the Sanctum is supposed to be. He explains the truth to Sara, who has an idea of what happened to the Sanctum. Strange and Clea have a huge battle against Mordo and Silver Dagger. Aged Genghis is injured by Silver Dagger and the wizard kills him in retaliation, to the shock of the others. Genghis then sends them all away with a spell. Strange lands back in the now returned Sanctum, where Wong and Sara meet him. They find out that Clea was captured within the transportation spell by Mordo, who has brought her to a location in Transylvania where he has been operating. The three go there and confront Mordo, who reveals his backstory to them and reveals that he's draining Clea's magic from her into a weapon that kill any sorcerer in one blow. Strange fights Mordo while Wong and Sara free Clea, causing a accident that causes her magic to go out of control and create a portal in the sky that is causing Dark Dimension energy to spill out and turn the surrounding landscape into a surreal, freaky disaster area. Strange uses all of his will and power to go into the portal and fix everything, but falls to the earth utterly depleted due to this. Mordo goes in for the final strike, but looks around himself and realizes that his actions almost lead to the world becoming a new Dark Dimension and flees. Wong, Clea, and Sara bring Strange back to the Sanctum Santorum. Strange awakens and asks Clea to join him so they can learn to control her powers, Wong and Sara confess their feelings to one another and kiss, Mordo exiles himself to a cabin in yet another different magical dimension, and Strange vows to find Mordo again someday. In the Post-Credits scenes Nightmare appears and is set up as the villain of the third Doctor Strange film and another MCU hero goes to the Sanctum and teases Strange's appearance in their movie.

to:

* Why not Robbie? ''Agents of SHIELD'' is nearing the end, which likely means the character and the actor would be free to be contacted without interfering with the show. Plus, if Strange explains what Spirits of Vengeance are, there wouldn't be any ContinuityLockout with Robbie, especially not if its simply a cameo.

[[WMG: Morgan le Fay will be revealed to have existed in the MCU]]
It would be a good way to elude to the AllMythsAreTrue nature of the main Marvel universe, even if only as a throwaway reference, like saying she created a spell that one of the character's uses, or her name is applied to an artifact briefly used in the plot. Going beyond that, le Fay could even appear in future MCU films some day as a major villain, with a movie featuring Doctor Strange being where she'd be first introduced.

[[WMG: Either as a cold open or a stinger, Strange will come into contact with one of the Spirits of Vengeance]]
Not likely to be Robbie Reyes, considering how separate the movies and films tend to keep characters, but Johnny Blaze, Danny Keitch or even Alejandra could be causing trouble somewhere, requiring Strange's knowledge of the occult to contain the Spirit.
