Considering how [[TheFaceOfTheBand Kasumi]] is now a guest star in ''[[Videogame/NinjaGaiden Razor's Edge]]'', and [[OneManArmy perfectly capable of committing the same bloodletting violence as Ryu and Ayane]], this Troper thinks it's some {{Foreshadowing}} that ''[=DOA6=]'' will have scenes that are BloodierAndGorier to match. Granted, [[GameplayAndStorySegregation there probably won't be any fatalities in any in-game matches]], but the [[CerebusSyndrome story mode can easily escalate in serious violence and drama onscreen]], [[TheClimax especially towards the climax]]. Bonus points if [[ActionSurvivor the other, non-ninja fighters]] [[BreakTheCutie get caught up in the whole mess in the worst way possible...]]

What little has been seen of ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive6'' proves that it is already establishing itself as BloodierAndGorier (albeit in a Downplayed sense, in that the worst shown (so far) is fighters [[HighPressureBlood sending blood flying with their hits]], usually ending matches with [[FacialHorror visible bruising on their faces]] (subverting BeautyIsNeverTarnished), and that some characters (namely the ninjas like Kasumi, Ryu and Hayate) [[SwordAndFist use various weapons]] [[CombatPragmatist in addition to their martial arts]]), and that the tone is more "serious" than the previous games, including downplaying the sex appeal from "[[GagBoobs cartoonishly]] [[{{Gainaxing}} exaggerated]]" to "still attractive, but [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome won't be for long in]] [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown a full-on fight]]".
