* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: The easiest way to defeat Vorkken is to focus on attacking his squardon instead of himself. Using Unite Sword or Hammer to take out a large portion of his squad leaves Vorkken defenseless, as he's still try to use his Unify Morphs to attack you with no crew to form them. This emphasizes that Vorkken really is alone despite his crew following him, [[spoiler: which sets up for the reveal that he enslaved them on threat of death.]]

Not really a subversion or double subversion, just people deciding to argue over an example and using the concepts of subversion and double subversion to respond instead of repairing. I don't think the pattern of Luka appearing with the reactors is relevant anyway; in 001 the statue is also a tourist attraction so he could have been there for any number of reasons, and in the later instances he's with the team pretty much non-stop even if he isn't actually mixed in with the crowd at the moment.

* PlayerAndProtagonistIntegration: Of the "You Are You" kind.

Double subverted since [[spoiler:Luka appears in all operations involving the Super Reactors (002 doesn't involve one, and 007 is after he sells out to GEATHJERK)]].

The player controls the whole team at once, using the Wii U [=GamePad=] to combine them into various weapons and utilities with Unite Morphs, transforming into different weapons such as fists, swords and more.

''The Wonderful 101'' does not take itself seriously at all. It's a roller coaster ride from the get-go, playing every trope seen in your average Saturday morning cartoon to the extreme. From beginning to end, this game makes no apologies for being wonderfully stupid and over the top. But what else would anyone expect from Platinum? Oh, and it's also [[NintendoHard really freaking hard.]]
